I am mourning the loss of the United States of America and weeping the birth of the United States Socialist Republic.
I'll be clinging to my guns and religion until 2012.
May God have mercy on this country.
This came up a month or so ago, so I call DUPE! Anyway. It isn't a matter of API, think functionality. Does it support 3-way calling or call transfer? A slick app would (in the background), sey up wifi, establish a VOIP client, dial VOIP client via 3-way calling, connect VOIP client, disconnect 3G/GSM line. Simple? Well, no. You'll need a "number" (a.k.a. some VOIP link to the telco network probably via SIP), that the iCall provider will gladly sell you or give for free in exchange for VOIP SPAM.
You just need enough pre-made decisions to cover a significant portion of question space and the ability to change those pre-made decisions relative to other decisions.
"Decrypting" is a method of altering the signal, usually with the benefit of getting some content from it. Doesn't a microwave alter the signal? What if my microwave "decrpyted" the signal? Would my microwave then be considered illegal?
Since iCall also does SIP termination, my guess is that they have some sort of script to automatically make and answer a simple call transfer (i.e. VOIP app has a different phone number that gets the call transferred to). It's doable, but it's one of those things that almost nobody I know uses outside of the office.
So, if I go on a linux try-fest, and download the latest Debian, Ubuntu, Knoppix, et. al CDs, then I am a heavy user? 1GB 2 CDs. I've probably downloaded these same images a number of times and then blown them away. I lose the CDs since I don't label them and it's cheaper to grab another copy than to look.
p.s. I did this just yesterday for a system migration, New Debian for a server; new Ubunut for a Mythtv machine, new Knoppix to work out some integration bugs.
Not to be a troll, but obviosuly you're using the wrong flavor of linux. Dependency hell was solved a long time ago. Repeat after me "apt-get install".
I agree that AoE is the best way to go. You can get SAN performance without all the headache. I don't know of a Windows AoE initiator, but then again, expcept for my job and for gaming, I don't use windows.
Been there, done that. The economy was crap (2001) and I couldn't find a job anywhere else. I told them up front that if I didn't get paid, they've wouldn't get any work. Fortunately, they never missed a payday, or I'd have been gone regardless. It gave me a lot of good experience from an accounting point of view.
VPSLand will give you a VPS Linux Box (w/Debian! or something else if you're inclined) or a windows box for fairly cheap. I used mine for a number of things that SBC or AT&T or whatever they are this month won't let me do. Their terms say that you can do anything but run IRC.

I second the motion.

Here goes my Karma, but that's legitimately funny.

Couldn't the same be said about the US?

It is dark and you are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I think your stufy is off. What about those false positives the RIAA keeps getting?

It's good for consumers and it's good for the economy. This is why we have anti-trust legislation!

Something wonderful, yet notoriously late/slow... So, it should be great when it comes out, but don't hold your breath.
Just like the RIAA and/or MPAA.
Read The F... Manual! Some of them are outdated, but then again, some things don't change. Go to The Linux Documentation Project and read.
Lifetime Imprisonment? What happened to letting the punishment fit the crime?
It's not the interest that is a problem, it's the penalty for late filing that bites.
