If you have enough money, you no longer have to try.
By the way, I see obvious homework projects on the freelancing sites all the time now (some with the actual homework document posted). Thankfully, myself and most of my colleagues avoid bidding on them.
your not reading between the lines here.... if you read between the lines it says to do something REALLY romantic for a chick right AFTER V-Day or before spring break... or 2 weeks before X-Mas, and you can steal her away from that Jock asshole..... (a side note, you may consider renewing your health/life insurance as well before you do this)
I agree with you on the most part but I just wanted to highlight one exception I heard this season: Dennis Kucinich's TV and (especially) radio ads. No actors posing as "average Joes", no mudslinging of opponents; just him talking.
Were I a citizen of Ohio, he would have won my vote from that ad alone.
If you're talking about stored procedures, maybe. Otherwise, MySQL is ANSI compliant for the most part, so very little should be new.
A major effort at ironing out bugs, quirks, and exceptions to rules. Gawd, PHP is just a horror, and end users hate Java and Javascript, what a mess those versions are. Who the hell has time to overhaul their applications every time the publishers of PHP scratch their asses?
And here you've gone off on PHP when I asked specifically about the database, and the rest of your issues follow suit.
Databases are data entry applications, that means keyboard navigation. Keep your hands on the keyboard. The graphical mouseable interface is just death.
Nope. Databases are databases. Data entry applications query a database. Like I said, if you want a purely text interface, you're welcome to code your own in C. MySQL isn't tied to PHP in any way.
The Canadian government is saying "Whoa, seriously, people, wi-fi won't kill you."
It's the crazy admin folk in charge of these specific schools that are making the rest of us look bad.

Please elaborate: What features do you feel that MySQL (purely as a database, not counting what language is used to interface with it since it can be interfaced with practically anything) is missing? Same question for PostgreSQL.
Every major console, including handhelds, runs a custom OS anyway. Even the Xbox isn't really running Windows. The fact that they're running Linux means they probably wanted to avoid reinventing the wheel since it already has a mature kernel and useful userland tools. The GUI will probably still be 90%+ custom-built.
I still think Bing's name came about as an inside joke among the developers at Microsoft, carefully not mentioned among the marketers or executives. After all, Bing is not Google.
My Canadian bank offers 3 months worth of records on line as well.
If you want a Canadian bank that offers full history records for free, PC Financial will serve your needs (and almost never charge you a service fee, to boot!)
If you were on a contract, probably, especially if this provision was in the contract (which it probably would be since ISP contracts usually incorporate the terms of service by reference).
The author's thoughts on the "apology" are here.
She basically had the same reaction we all did: What a load of crap.

Fender has a lot of money and a preexisting relationship with Harmonix...
I still haven't seen a Hitler reference.

And to anyone who takes this seriously, listen to the bitches.
Fucking gerrymandering. It's one of the most anti-democratic actions possible and yet we let it happen.

We're a shadow plutocracy.
This is what competition is for.
Ever look at the competition in your local ISP market?
A bad GUI design.
This goes beyond bad GUI design. Any Javascript programmer with half a brain would figure this one out.
It's not theft if you give it to them.
(Pssst, in case anyone's wondering, we use .gc.ca as our governmental "TLD", since the US won't let others use .gov, the hosers)
I know Google is evil and all, but selling Canadian data to the Government of California? That's low, even for you, Schwarzenegger.
So basically, you want net neutrality only when it's beneficial to you.
What if you were accessing one of Netflix's competitors?
Read the PDF, it explains it well.
Wait until they get bored of you and move on.
Doing anything else will extend the attacks, because your actions just make it that much lulzier.
string management and validation.
...is at the application level. Though MySQL has plenty of string functions available if necessary.
Ease and certainty of restoring backups.
This one might have a bit of truth to it.
Comprehensibility of documentation
I dunno, the official documentation is pretty comprehensive.
Decently organized functions.

The equivalent to modding on consoles is homebrew. The hardware companies don't like it, but it is and probably always will be there.

Earlier today.
*shrugs* I just have a phone that sends texts and calls people, what do I know. :^P
We bet the other mobile OSes violate some of our patents. Our OS is the only way to be sure you're not in violation.
