Get a list of all the Serial Numbers you have (legal access to).
Email that list to your boss, along with a letter saying:
"We have office installed on the following computers:
Dave Jones, Workstation 101, Serial # 1234 1234 1234 1234
Steve Jones, Workstation 102, Serial # 1244 1244 1244 1244
Etc
Etc
Etc
I am ready to install office on workstation 201, 202, etc etc, but we have no more serial numbers that I am aware of to activate any other copies.
If you have more serial numbers available, please provide me with a list of them and I can proceed with installation,
thanks in advance!
Tom Jones"
This tells bossman that you know what is going on, that you have an inventory of what is where and what should not be where.
And if by some miracle he comes up with a list of new serial numbers, that is on his head, not yours. You're just implementing instructions and information that was provided to you by your boss.
If he tells you to find serial numbers on your own, tell him you have no idea how or where to look for that kind of information.
Keeps it simple, shows him you're willing and ready to install, you just need that one thing from him to proceed.
So google is sued for displaying content no longer available? Thus making the 3rd party source "less needed". Too bad the common american worker can't get together and sue big corporations for outsourcing jobs, thus making the american worker "less needed". Lets start a class action suite.
This comes down to a simple equation - if you give up your right to access anything on the web ( other than your banks website ), then they can be held responsible for the safety of your computer usage. If you don't agree to that limitation, the bank really has no way to guarantee that you won't be phished at some point - and thus, should not be liable for the $$.
Further, if the bank undertakes the time and effort to create an infrastructure that can provide a guaranteed access point from your computer to their bank with no ability to circumvent and/or steal information from it - there should be a subscription and/or usage fee to partake in that service.
If you're on a mac, using safari, you just click on the 'Safari' menu item, then click on 'Reset Safari'. Viola, all of that stuff is erased for you.
There are also a dozen utility programs that do this for you too.
Apple is the clear music leader. I sent a request to MS to buy licensing from apple for their DRM system rather than putting their users through the trouble of converting everything to work with iPod.
Click here and send a similar message to Microsoft.
I usually have been "Proud" to display the BBB logo at places I have worked, but like it has been pointed out several times here, the BBB is basically a joke of a company/organization.
And in this particular case, it's like one company wants to tattle on their competition, and nothing "legal" worked, so why not tattle to the BBB.
Sad, shows that not only can other companies not directly compete with the power of the G5 - but they are resorting to 6 year old mentality to try to save face.
Our company uses HP 4000n series laser printers. We were using HP toner replacements which were $120 each, but would last 4 months. They switched to a 3rd party toner company who only charged $65 - the 3rd party would barely last a month, and have lower quality overall - but it allowed for twice the waste.
Personally, I wanted the higher quality. Our higher-ups wanted cost savings.
First of all, where is your proof that microsoft does not keep logs of IP addresses. And which microsoft site? msn.com? live.com?

If I remember right - vega is the planet they visited in Contact with Jody Foster - yes?

Even at $3 million, it would aparantly cost $18 million in dell products to build what $5 million in apple products cost?
