First update introduced Asteroid Mining on the 15th of November. Second update introduced a Galactic News system and NPC traders, on the 22nd of November Today's update adds a Bounty system for glorifying a bit those pesky pirates and letting players become bounty hunters, plus a number of tweaks on ships and weapons. And special goodies for the few players who managed to fufill all 120 prospecting missions.
Unless you post your sources, including a handwritten and signed statement by Dr Pons himself, your comment will be considered hogwash. After all you're making an extraordinary claim here, so we want extraordinary evidence.
All I hear from the citizens who voted for Kerry is "Let's move to Canada". Yeah right, move away and abandon fighting for democracy in your own country. Instead of fleeing to the Canuck Haven, they should stay and demand a re-election, with paper (trail or ballot) only. The remaining americans might have voted for Bush, but they don't deserve being deceived.
He could submit it to one or more legitimate scientific journals. Or he could present the work to a qualified physicist and try to get them on board.
Right, he'll present it to people who are pathological disbelievers like yourself and it will be ignored instead of being reviewed. Catch-22, as I said.
So, until his work is either 1) peer reviewed and validated or 2) verified experimentally, and these experiments are repeated by other, reputable scientists, his work will continue to lack credibility, and so will be ignored. How will this work be reviewed or tested if it is ignored ? It looks like a catch-22.
Oh, and FYI cold fusion has done some remarkable progress those last 15 years;)
Oh yes, you're right. We should burn him at the stake.
To tell the truth I'm not satisfied with his failure to explain the total 1/2 spin of the nucleons, his explanation on how he comes up with the correct number of positron-electron pairs to build a neutron (and lighter baryons), and the lack of a calculation of the gravitational constant from the g-factor of the electron following his magnetogravitics explanation. Other than that he opens surprising and interesting ways to investigate. It'd be interesting to see what experiments he comes up with to validate the theory.
Well, yes, it is illegal. Seems we have a winner business strategy here: 1) invest money in a game studio 2) cripple the newly acquired asset's value by making its games install adware 3) go to jail and lose all your money
This is just an attempt at preparing the world for Microsoft's next business model. Remember when he said hardware prices would go down to zero and that software would be the only expense left ? That's the same thing, he's desperate to make the rest of the world follow in their plans, but it's not working at all.
This virus is not yet self-reproducting, but I think it might just evolve a bit more and complete that last step. It's a nice demonstration of evolution in action, I think.
Starting a turbine engine is a complicated procedure. How will we be supposed to start such a tiny engine ? Perhaps using the generator in motor mode to give it enough RPM ?
It could be a nice replacement for hydrogen fuel cells, if it can be tuned to run on hydrogen like some real turbine engines out there. No pollution ! And the hot steam could be used for something else.
To Hell with Florida's votes. It's not like they're gonna make a difference, be it because it's gonna be a tie (= difference in ballot count inferior to error margin), or because of fraud reports / accusations.
Besides, John titor already predicted it back in November 2000:
(Q: Are you here to monitor the elections ?) A: I would use the word "elections" a bit cautiously. Perhaps it's easier now to see a civil war in your future? [...] I am here for personal reasons. For a few months now, I have been trying to alert anyone that would listen to the possibility of a civil war in the United States in 2005. Does that seem more likely now? Actually it's quite amazing to see what's happening. I have been trying to get people to pay attention for the last few months but to see it unfold is very interesting. Before I leave, I'll try and post my report.
I am curious... will anyone be upset if Florida's votes are not counted in the Electoral College because of the current "confusion"?
Off Brittany coast, around the Belle-Ile-en-Mer island, (latitude around 47.3, that's upper North than New-York or even Boston) now live tropical fishes. They've established there a couple years ago.
The sea there has been warming these last years. I'd say on average it went up 2 C in temperature, but that's a totally unscientific estimate of mine.
So this is what they call MagBeam. Sounds a lot like MagnetoHydroDynamics (MHD) to me. IIRC this was researched in the 60s (by US, UK, France, USSR...) then abandoned by almost everyone except the US.
Glad to see this technology making a come-back at a time when buzz is very high on the space industry:)
I'm glad to see that the Discordian Calendar fits your requirements !

Somebody gets it finally !
Wait, were you serious ?

I strongly suggest reading all of the papers presented here to get a more accurate view of the conclusions reached by the reviewers.
Their numbers are. What else do you need ?

Hmm, no, it's just that the Medical Meccanica ironed it flat for no reason, just like a thousand other planets before...

Nice :) It works in french too.
ih/2Pi dPhi/dt = hc/2iPi (A1 dPhi/dx1 + A2 dPhi/dx2 + A3 dPhi/dx3) + A4 mc(squared)Phi
Said by Hotson to be the Equation of Everything. First part, second part. Worth a read IMO.

Thanks, you made my day :)
How peculiar... This is exactly the year that John Titor predicted as the explosion of the US Civil War into a full-blown WW3. ::dons tin-foil hat::

Have someone from the PearPC team send a DMCA takedown notice to whoever hosts CherryOS' website. Eh, the law's there, why not use it ?

Same in french and italian. I foresee this product won't be very popular in Europe.
