This needs to stop. You're making an assumption about what the editor meant, a foolish thing to do. How about we do this in America from now on: let's take people for what they say, and stop going on and saying "well they implied so and so!!!" Its really irritating, and its destoryed our ability to debate.

And my point stands; if you can't be bothered now to properly research things, why would I think you'd do it later? Especially considering that the McDs coffee case was very high profile and even common people like me know the facts about it.

At any rate whether you consider a item a luxury or not is irrevelent to the story as well. Unfair contracts are unfair contracts. Saying its not corporations fault is a cope out; we've already seen at the beginning of the 20th century what unrestricted companies will do. But I supposed you'd say it was the workers fault that they simply didn't find another job elsewhere.

So I don't think you can say D&D supported story telling better than AD&D or AD&D2, it depends on your players and DM.

Ironically, they felt that fantasy was having a bad influence on people. Their fantasy has been far more detremental to the world.

You also ignore the fact that we could recycle the materials in the batteries, something you can't do with gasoline, which just throws CO & CO2 and other gases into the air.

Don't go arguing that hybrids are more damaging to build for the environment unless you have solid evidence to back it up, not just some half baked thought experiment.

C02 emissions aren't causing global warming - the evidence shows that C02 emissions are more likely to be a symptom than cause; but neither side can actually prove it either way, so go with what is more scientifically plausible.

Hmm, the evidence is pretty strong that more CO2 leads to higher tempuratures. If C02 was a symptom, please explain what you think would release more C02 as the tempurature rises.

If you buy a Hybrid to cut your C02 footprint; you get used - it's more environmentally destructive to create one of those inefficient turds than it is to go with what's already out there - you'd have to drive the same one for about 75 years to have done less damage than buying a new oil-burner every 5 - 10.

Are you playing dumb now? No where do you need to list rights, nor do we need to in order for them to exist. The constitution of the US does not exist outside the philosophy found in the link. I pointed you to a start to understand this, but you'll have to do more reading and research. From the founders, you can easily find who they were influenced by, and where they had the idea to protect Liberty. A right is NOT granted by the state, it is something we have as human beings.

Also if you research the creation of the Bill of Rights, you'll find that there was quite a bit of debate on whether to create the document or not, because they worried some would construe this as a enumeration of the rights people had, instead of protecting some of the most important. This debate is what lead to the 9th and 10th Amendents being proposed.

You are very ignorant when it comes to the philosophy on which this country was founded. The link I posted is meant to be the start of your eduction, so please, go education yourself before you attempt to debate whether or not we have rights or not. If you can't get to John Stuart Mill, please don't post anymore on rights, Liberty and what our government is supposed to be doing.
