Where i'm from (born) you can still vote several times and get paid each time you vote. Been that way since before I was and will be after I go.
I'd like to know where these Diebold machines are in Ohio. I live in Ohio and from what all the news stations say (if you can believe them) most of the people that vote in Ohio still vote by punch card (I know thats how my ballots cast and has been since I first voted).
Kinda hard to rig a punch card unless its already punched when you get it and if thats the case if you don't say something then you don't deserve to have you vote counted anyways.
I use to live by that motto "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you ", but after being screwed to many times by living that way my new motto is " do it to them before they do it to you "
Yes I agree 100% with your statement, but the government seen to the down fall of the union(s) when then replaced the air traffic controlers when they went on strike. The government should not be allowed to get involved in any and I mean any disputes between a business (no matter what business it is) and the union. Otherwise what good is the union if the government can do what they want to break it. As I've told people for years , the union will make a comeback one day but before that happens there will be alot of blood shed like before the unions came into being. Like they say, if you don't learn from history, its bound to repeat.
The only way this issue will ever be solved is when the ISP's are forced to put into writing what the actual limits are, until then you can bitch all you want to and it won't mean a thing.
So get busy writing or calling your congressmen or electing one that will do something about it.
The black box recording can be turned off, or so i'm told by a friend that works for GM. He says he turns the recording off in all his vehicles.
They have some device called a tech 2 or tech 3 and the recording can be turned on and off with this device.
