That was for taxes on Internet sales. This is totally different - it isn't even a tax. This is an additional fee the phone company will charge the ISPs.
I'm sure they know all about this, but this will probably get good ratings, and that is all that maters, right? The show is only going to be bad in our eyes. In the eyes of everyone else, it will be informative and entertaining... <sigh>

On another note, Bill Gates has become a sort of "nerd hero" to those who don't know any better. Anyone who isn't a real techie would consider Bill Gates to be the quintessence of "geek" and "nerd".
And, of course, Linus, RMS, etc.
Those will be the best known, of course. The rest, like in every other major area, will rarely be remembered.

I don't think that most (intelligent) Slashdot readers are in this group, but some people seem to like just about anything, as long as it's against Microsoft's interests...
