How would US citizens feel about his, and other's like him living in the US?
As far as I'm concerned, so long as they learn the local language and customs... anyone who can use an apostrophe correctly is welcome to become a US citizen.
Hell, I played Quake on a min-spec Pentium with a Voodoo card within days of release and that was the first ever game to actually MAKE people into "gamers" to buy an upgrade card that serves no further purpose than to play games faster (back then, it was necessary, though unless you wanted flickbook framerates).
I played Quake on a Cyrix DX4-100 (overclocked to 120Mhz) with a standard SVGA card.
Sure the resolution as lowand the frame-rates wern't spectacular, but isn't that your whole point? You don't need to buy top end hardware to play games. You can get away without upgrading every few months if you are happy with not having the best graphics.
I install my OS and my apps on a fast 120GB SSD. That fits pretty much everything I want; the OS boots fast and the apps load quickly. My Drobox folder (5GB) also goes on this drive which is where most of my important documents are. All the stuff that isn't speed dependant goes on a traditional hard drive. Movies, music, stuff like that.
As the submitter, I'd like to point out that the final paragraph was added by the editor
If it was easier for him to snoop then the parent would have been able to see this from your Internet records and you wouldn't have had to clear this issue up!
But seriously, these walled gardens make me long for the 90's, when you could sanction a company [wikipedia.org] for even *including* their own browser with an OS,
The reasons those sanctions came about was because Microsoft had a near monopoly on the operating system market. None of the companies in the mobile space have a monopoly.
if someone sells me 1000 pounds of beef and as far as I can measure I only receive 750 pounds then that someone has got 250 pounds worth of explaining to do.
Maybe you're just measuring the lean meat but your butcher is measuring the fat as well, or he's quoting gross weight and you're quoting net weight? Someone has suggested that AT&T may be measuring packet overhead and the article poster might not be.
As it's obvious this ruler was Imperial.
boom - tish!

OP is asking how to secure media on a media server...and one of the solutions is to put them on a media server?
Well, yes, that;s not such a bad idea. Have two media servers - one open and one locked down. ;)
Perhaps a third one too
What state would the third one be in? Open and locked down at the same time? Is that the set-up that Schrodinger opted for with his media?
I kinda miss the usenet.
Please add me to the list!
Me, too!
Yup, agreed Usenet was one of the NO CARRIER
LOL. Works both ways, I suppose.
That's what (s)he said!

And what are they gonna say if they crashed on the house of some of the men living on the dark side of the moon?
There are no men living on the moon. FACT!
99% of comments will be ill-informed. You won't be able to identify the 1% which are well informed
Yeah, I will, they'll have +5 Informative written next to them. What... don't you trust the Slashdot moderation system? Oh... wait!
MOD PARENT UP (because he's a friend of mine and he promised he'd get my next comment modded up).

As you smash one down they keep coming back with another version. How about a bill to make this sort of thing illegal?
Regime change?
It doesn't need to be revised, it needs to be scrapped!
If you outlaw snooping, only outlaws will be snoops... no, wait!

Did you read the article?
You must be new here!
Does the study take into account gang culture and revenge killings?
Correlation != Causation
Maybe demented people are more likely to take up American football!
... so they cancelled the poll.
I didn't like their privacy system so I cancelled my FB account.
You won't be getting an invite to my party then

You know what scares me? The fact that I already knew what it was before clicking on the link.
It could be that you're psychic, but in order to be sure, we'll need to repeat the experiment. Can you guess what's on the other side of this link?

I bet they've found Sandkings
Please be more specific. What do you desire from Firefox memory management?

"I can choose not to pay for a licence."
Yeah, Go ahead and try that.
I haven't paid for a tv licence in many years; I don't watch television, nor do I own one. What's your point?
