In the Toronto area, they're ALWAYS doing construction 24/7. I can't imagine how much more they would have to do with the roads being torn up from studded tires. There are places where you can get away with all season tires in the winter as well since the major roads always get plowed and salted pretty fast.
But why should any user have to know how to configure CUPS? Yes OS X uses CUPS but as a user you don't even generally know that. You can access the web interface but the vast majority of users have no idea this is even happening. OS X does all the configuration for you and all you really have to do is plug the printer in.
OCAP/true2way is coming out already. Although the Panasonic TV is only available in a few markets so far. There are set top boxes in various stages of development from Motorola, Panasonic, Samsung, Cisco etc. They all work on the OCAP/true2way system(or will when they're finished being developed).
Once this is all rolled out, you will be able to go buy your set top box from any store and use it on a compatible network. COX is also going through this transition as is Time Warner and some smaller cable companies.
So, Comcast and many other cable companies are already moving away from this forced rental. I don't see what the court will be able to do to them since they're already transitioning away from it.
Psystar is making money off of Apple's work. The only reason you'd buy a computer from them is because you want to run OS X on a non Apple computer. Apple is not obligated to have OS X work on Psystar's garage built computers.
Apple wasn't the first to come out with a touch screen phone, but you can't deny the effect the iPhone has had on other phones. Now touch screens are becoming more popular with consumers. Before the iPhone it wasn't very popular. That is in North America at least. I've never been to Japan which is always light years ahead.
We've seen Apple under the control of John Scully. Just because Jobs wasn't there doesn't mean that the reason Apple almost tanked was because of that. There could have been a better CEO and the company could have flourished.
Anyone using Wordpress admin + Safari can see this for themselves. Embedded in the Wordpress admin "dashboard" is a frame with a wordpress.com source. This frame will show you statistics about your blog if you're logged in to wordpress.com. The problem is, that in Safari when you have auto fill turned on, it puts the login credentials from myblog.com(i.e. your own blog login credentials) into this form which is hosted on wordpress.com
It's only a 1GHz Pentium M with integrated graphics. If the stream came as H.264 then the Apple TV could do it just like it can with iTunes HD movies. But, I think they are using a CPU based decoder which is too slow for that CPU.
All of those are trojans with exception of 2 proof of concept worms from 2006 and 2007 that have long been patched.
All those trojans require a user to double click the executable/installer, enter their administrative password and allow the thing to execute. That's hardly a virus and has everything to do with user stupidity and nothing to do with OS security or popularity.
High # of connections is a problem on crappy home NAT routers because they have to maintain a translation table of ports to internal IP addresses in memory. This shouldn't be a problem in any real router because all it does is forward packets to the correct network. It does not maintain any state for a TCP connection. That's the job of the clients on either end to do that.
TCP flow control scales back when it doesn't receive the ACK from the destination. They could easily do this over UDP by implementing their own ACK with a return UDP packet.
So far most of the work is on lower life-forms but it comes down to the IGF-1 signaling pathway and mutations of the genes responsible for the IGF-1 receptor sites affecting aging. That's pretty glossed over but you can read more about it if you like.
They are imposing a 60GB cap on all their users AND will be forcing a 60GB cap on any users of their network including those through 3rd party ISPs that pay Bell to pass traffic over their network. 60GB in 2008 is pathetic and luckily I'm still on a grandfathered unlimited data plan.
We already know that is unlikely because of the size of their brain cavity. Comparing humans to chimps and apes, we have the much larger brain so it's easy to see why we're smarter.
Don't forget the neck beards.

"... Aircrafts?"
Ever heard of Diamond Aviation with a manufacturing plant in London Ontario Canada? Which also happens to be next to the London International Airport.
You can sue anyone for whatever the hell you want. Whether it's easy to win or worthwhile or not makes the case worth pursuing or not.
It already says on the outside of the box that it requires an Apple branded computer. If you don't read it than that's your own fault.

Because when Apple sends out a software update, it breaks these computers(since they have to use a hacked OS to run)
You jest but it's actually possible to have water below zero degrees Celsius but not be frozen. It's called super cooled water.
You can find all the past worms and exploit code on any of the antivirus vendor's websites. Most of them are so old and have been patched for years.

So you can sell your $1 million house for 100K, buy an equivalent house for 100K but still owe $1 million. That's good HOW exactly?
Listening to Futures in Biotech this past week, I came across similar work about aging that's quite interesting.

Risperdal != resveratrol
Maybe on the east coast but that's a relatively small number of Canadians. Here in Ontario we say it like normal.

Don't you know the whole human race descended from only a single male and female? I read so in a fair tale book I found once.
