If it was all about population densities then there would be many big cities with FTTH but there aren't. There are many big cities in the U.S. and Canada that are highly populated and could easily be upgraded to faster speeds.
That could work if the network is over capacity at that time but if the low usage person is not doing much at the time the high usage person is then the high usage person being limited would be for artificial reasons, not that the other users are impacted.
Bell Canada is doing this with their new customers. Luckily I'm on the older plan and still have unlimited. I dare not change anything otherwise I will be stuck with a 60GB transfer limit with a price of $2/GB which is a rip off considering how Bell has a nation wide network and pays very little per GB.
That has nothing to do with the type of refrigerant used. It's due to the size of the cooling system. You can have an under sized cooling system with older refrigerants as much as you can have an over sized system with newer refrigerants.
The problem with Microsoft is they only make the programs work good on Windows. Even if they have Mac versions, they're not as good or slower(not just because of Rosetta either). MSN Messenger is a pretty simple application yet it lags years behind the Windows version. I can't even imagine the Mac BU taking on another project and keeping it on par with the Windows version. At least Adobe releases things with exactly the same feature set on both Mac and Windows platforms. Unfortunately for some users no Linux versions but it's better than just Windows only, or Windows versions being the best and the Mac version not even close.
I hope the Mac BU takes the transition to XCode to really fix up the Office for Mac source code but somehow I doubt it.
What if all the theatres start doing it? Then there's nothing you can do except submit to a search if you want to watch the movie. That's not acceptable. I liken it to DRM. Searching people doesn't really stop any of the people who are really determined to somehow record the movie, it just inconveniences everyone else, and in this case violates your privacy.
That has nothing to do with the battery and everything to do with the charger. Just go buy some contact cleaner and clean the contacts on the cable and it'll be like new.
F*ck, I can't believe you're defending getting searched just to see a movie. I guess the plan of getting people used to being watched and searched is working on some of you.
I bet most of the fast food restaurants give you the huge soft drink for this very reason. It makes you hungrier and want their super sized crap more and more.
And your house is just a place to sleep, who cares what it looks like right? Might as well be painted orange because it doesn't matter right? Who cares what your car looks like it might as well be a big box on wheels because it's just a tool to get you from A to B.
It could be possible that iTunes gets the password from an Apple server at the time that it would be restoring the firmware. It could be over https then it's reasonably secure although I'm sure someone could still figure out how to get it.
You're the only one I've ever heard of that actually likes those things. If you don't press them hard enough the mouse pointer hardly moves. If you press it too hard it goes flying around the screen. They're a nightmare to use.
I don't know why anyone expected everything to go 100% smooth. It rarely happens with any new release especially something so big as this where thousands of people are all trying to activate at once. I'm sure ATT and Apple made all the preparations they thought were needed but there's nothing that can prepare you for everything that may happen.
The iTunes helper service runs so iTunes can start automatically when you plug in your iPod. There could be a better way I don't know but with OS X they also have an iTunes Helper program that gets installed in the login items. I've taken mine out of there because I don't use an iPod. It only uses around 2MB of RAM so it's not a big deal but I have no need for it as far as I can tell.
Just wait till FF 3.0, it will probably support 10.3.9 and up http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox3/Firefox_Requireme nts#Platform_Support
Still better than Safari 3 support but at least they have a good excuse. Safari 3 uses a lot of the new framework changes in OS X Leopard which make backwards compatibility very hard.

Exactly. "The internet is going to grow beyond capacity soon. But don't worry we have these 10Gig E switches and routers we can sell you".

Then they have to define "servers". A bittorrent client could be considered a server as much as a client.
IE for Mac stagnated long before Safari came out. In fact that is the reason Safari came out.

But then you still have to buy Windows to run in VMWare. MS loves this and if people put up with this there'll never be a Mac version.

Well whatever, it still comes with the meals they sell.
And it's freaking retarded they use natural gas to make the steam to get the oil. What a waste of energy that is, not to mention waste of water.

Sucrose is a glucose bonded to a fructose so you're not escaping fructose by eating regular sugar.

You are a sad, sad person. Why do you care so much if people like the iPhone? You have some superiority complex or something?

It's a Star Trek joke, come one man!
They used the transporter and the pattern from when the person beamed down on the away mission...
