This might also be a good question for fellow readers here. Having never played D&D, What is the appeal of this game? It sort of looks like it's mostly about mathematics, not trying to be flamebait here, I'm genuinely curious.
If I should start playing, where to start and with which version of the rules?
Heh remember their first target audience though, extra sales outside Japan are a bonus which show there are enough ppl who like this stuff (including me, wheeeeeeeeeee)
Well for me it's quite stable, last uptime run was 61 days of daily heavy use without problems and I only paid about 19 euros for it. Lots of room for improvement, but everything I do on it works perfectly, games, pic/mov editing, multimedia all without a hitch.
I know Vista succes stories aren't that popular here, but they are out there.

Not just that, but sometimes it's the best way to observe behaviour and see if doing something with different timings won't give different results :)

I've been playing the Kotor series again, esp Kotor 1 is excellent.
