I wish Thunderbird had spring-loaded folders. What I really wish for is for a quick way to save an email to a folder after viewing it based on email address (I could do this pine).
I'd rather our species maintain a diverse gene pool. Who knows when a certain genetic tidbit could come in handy (for say, survival of the species). Think sickle cell and malaria.
The virus is cross-platform and sets up a p2p network with other instances of itself and shares platform-specific binaries and exploits. No need to write other viruses at that point; every behavior and improvement can exist in the "virus-net" p2p network and individual nodes can upgrade themselves from the modules being shared.
Worried about white hat hackers poisoning the network? Use encryption and only accept virus-modules that are "signed" by the virus creators and cadre.
If I'm doing a lot of typing or serious work, I'll use cmd+tab and cmd+backquote. If I'm laying down web browsing with a powerbook, I'll use expose with the lower left corner of my screen set up as a hotspot to activate it. I just whisk the cursor into that corner, and whoosh, I see all non-hidden windows. Upper right corner if I want to see just my desktop. Pretty slick.
It's trivial to get the Fun Factor. First, pick the game you think is the best, plug in all the other values, and then solve the equation for Fun Factor.:-)
I believe there's a fine line between personal time and company time when you're a software developer, especially these days with so much telecommuting going on. Lots of dev's I know work from home, and their hours aren't necessarily in-sync with everyone else's -- some work from 2PM-1AM, some work sporadically throughout the day/night. So who defines "company time" when you're a telecommuter?
These odd hours usually translate to extra hours. If they're going to take something personal from me, I want my overtime or comp time. Fair is fair.

"...whether I sneak into their concerts without paying or not."
:D
That's just trespassing.

Better change that void and add the C equivalent of return "$1,000,000";
I like the command line, but I can see people using the Find command/option/wizard with Mac and Windows for this.

I had an interactive Zork book. It told me I cheated. :D There was no damn light scroll from the rock tribe.

The archaic application I see most often on windows is 3270-flavored telnet. :D
