Well, I know, and I am not against the idea of money as incentive. But that, in no way, can justify immoral, unethical, psychopathic behavior of corporations in name of profit, and it can never be used to defend anything.
I have seen this "but they are answerable only to their stockholders" (i.e. capitalism) argument here on slashdot more than enough to make my blood boil.
Profit can never be allowed at the expense of person or society or humanity.
>> You really think Murdoch babysits any of these people?
No, but do you think it's unlikely that get-the-story-no-matter-what directives came from the top? Also, it was not just one case, they were doing this for long, and doing it systematically, and doing it with no regards to moral, ethical or legal aspects. I am not sure all this went on without it being the culture from top to bottom.
That's how everthing was, before apple and apple fanbois started throwing shit at others. Case in point - the ridiculous legal war we are discussing here.
Making free internationals calls to the US from amsterdam over wifi calling over my dual core querty keyboard 4g phone is definitely not a good price or a good phone.
Let me know when you are done trolling and we will then talk facts.
And not everybody gives shit about itoys. Some of us like phones that can do more than just looking shiny.
I have not - I stay away from malware/virus as much as I could. But three of my friends recently lost all their music, thanks to itunes. I will remind them to look up the option of Google Music. Thank you.

So your logic is: If you do not like an Apple product, you must be a hater/biased/Android-MS-Nokia fanboi. There is not one neutral person who ever disliked an Apple product for it's shortcomings. Because, of course, there are no shortcomings in an Apple product. Hence Apple is the best, and the OP is just biased and does not know anything.
I am thankful it was not 'copied' from Apple. Apple would've sued the whole linux/Linux/GNU/FOSS in South Korea, Germany, Japan and of course the US and would have asked to ban the import of, er, things.
There is also a possibility of people knowing about certain languages more than the others. In other words, in general, somebody programming in C might know the language better than somebody who is doing Javascript.
Having strong foundation is important to know how to get stuff done before using the 'internet'. Certain languages are just better at that.
Oh I see - it was not about patents at all. I see. You are just on your knees (a very comfortable position for a fanboi though).
And to the serial downmodding assholes, here is another comment to downmod - please continue.

This post is related to patents. GP I replied to mentioned patents. So yes, my comment has to be surely and utterly "unrelated".
Anyway, so now that you have called me a hater means I can call you Apple's bitch, right? (See? It works both ways.)
Patent stupidity - it has worked for Apple. Why should Pfizer not do the same?
Oh I see. They did not have Steve Jobs and his RDF to work it's magic on /. crowd.
Hey, they are just taking care of their stockholders Nothing wrong with it, right?
Capitalism, it just works, bitches.

To give slashdot some credit, I do see few words in between, such as "high-end", "performance" and "faster".
Why are you so anti-american and anti-capitalism?

Holy shit! Mark, is that you?????!!!11
Facebook is almost already for old people and housewives with shitload of kids pictures to show to the old people.
Almost every human on planet = roughly 6 billion people (out of 6.7 billion estimated)
so 0.8 billion is almost same as 6 billion. Things you learn on slashdot these days.
how does it feel to constantly be Apple's bitch?

+5 interesting my ass.
Wow. I knew RDF makes people stupid, but never knew it also turns the stupid into retards.

That's the basic definition of RDF.
You said it! All anecdotes in favor of Apple are valid data points, all against are just anecdotes.
Millions buy Justine Bieber music too. What's your point?

>> Now without Net Neutrality a lot of companies wouldn't go too far to block too much just because it will piss off the customers and they switch.
Switch to what? The second option which does not exist? Not in my neighborhood at least. Comcast is the only choice for high speed cable internet.
What do you expect from an apple fanboi?
*ducks*

Yeah. There was no court case or anything, right?
Btw, stop sucking that dick now. He is dead for fuck sake.
As I said, apple bitches are indeed out.
