I know what you are saying, and I do understand the cache directories. But the point you are missing is the files a browser can not identify/know how to render. e.g. if I click on a file Firefox does not understand, it will prompt and ask me what to do - would not download it by default in any directory. As far as cache or temp files goes, those files are part of the page the browser is rendering and using it so that you can see the content. There is a big difference between files downloaded AND required to display a page by a browser WRT files downloaded and the browser does not even use it.
Probably, but then, shouldn't it be the 'poor' countries who are wary of Microsoft? After all, its Microsoft that's providing all those 'free' software to their educational institutes after all.
Normally, I would just ignore such assholes as Mediadefenders and their ilk. But after reading this, I just hope FBI put them behind bar where they will be constantly picking the soap bars from the floor for their entire lives.
Not to be pedantic (and I understand the general drift of the article), but from wikipedia:
"... the US FCC used 200 kbit/s in their definition until march 19th 2008 after which it was scaled up to require a minimum of 768 kbit/s to be defined as broadband and at that time the FCC introduced new tiers in their definition as follows: 1) 200kbit/s to 768kbit/s ("first generation data"); 2) 768kbit/s to 1.5Mbit/s ("basic broadband"); 3) 1.5Mbit/s to 3 Mbit/s; 4) 3Mbit/s to 6 Mbit/s; and 5) 6Mbit/s and above."

>>one makes sharing illegal, and the other doesn't.
Bullshit. If they really wanted to make sharing illegal, there would not have been any way to strip those files of DRM, and THEN sharing them illegally.
And just because I buy DRM free music, you have assumed I want to share it illegally, eh? Guilt conscious much?
Because I don't buy music based on business models and politics. Politics - I understand. Business model - why not? It affects the consumers directly. DRM is their business model, and having burnt my fingers with DRM, as a consumer, I detest it and anybody trying to sell it to me.
Also, iPod lockdown is their business model, and it does affect me.
"Maybe I'm being ignorant" he says. Give him a chance. Give him one...."but was the same attention devoted to hacking the other systems?" Naah.. he lost it, the ignorant fool.
But isn't that ironical that the INDIAN companies (backed by NASSCOM) were supporting Microsoft?? Sad reality is that India did a good thing, not because of Indian firms.
Infosys, Wipro and TCS are in Microsoft pockets for long time. Of course, they don't want to lose their big projects with Microsoft. But that does not justify their support for OOXML.
I am not talking about updates in existing software. I am getting new applications as well. "Lacking?" - so, if some other company does the same thing as Apple, they are 'lacking'. Only Apple provides shiny new apps to their users, eh? This is fanboism at its best.

>>Safari on Mac OS X
And Microsoft is not complaining about OS X here, is it?
You read the article but not the summary? WTF???
Nope. Its not the same thing - remove the "direct" part of your post and see how stupid it looks. Are you too weak to let RDF take over or what?

Other than killing other country's prime ministers (or pm candidates).

Or one button mouse. He he.
Fanboy orgy - that reminds me of the MadTV sketch - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgZKjJt-TkU&feature=related
Or because itunes sells mind numbing pop trash from Britney Spears and her ilk?
Apologies. I interpreted your post wrong. I see what you are saying now. And BTW, I do buy from Magnatune, and pay for it.

Nope. It is not.

Only 20%. See this proof - http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Image:SCO_proof.png
Of course, guilty until proven not to be. Good show!
what is 'it'? The raid or the whole investigation?
Meh... go for a 1080p projector. 10 times cheaper with better display.

How the fuck is this troll? Oh.. I see. It compared Apple to Microsoft. Blasphemy!

Go ahead mods. I am still at 1, Troll. There are two more mods to go. Fucking fanboys.
