    Other places sell music online, in either MP3 or AAC format.
    All decent portable media players can play MP3 and AAC files.

    Where's the de-facto monopoly here? Music files aren't DRM'ed anymore.

    Sadly, the post above isn't a troll. I don't know anyone who uses AIM, nobody uses ICQ anymore (was different 10 years ago), nobody uses Yahoo Messenger either.

    So it's either MSN, email or all that Facebook/twitter/etc crap.

    Is it something specific to Windows or to Mac OS X or both, or some weird on-purpose bad titles/tracks numbering? Anyone has more info about the technical side of the problem of the DVD version? And is the problem only on region 1 DVDs?

    It's not legal everywhere and laws can be changed. Thus we need to both ask for publication about the DRM and the continued efforts on the part of so-called "evil hackers".
