    He probably meant "go shopping" as in, you know, go to actual physical stores? It's impossible to find 4:3 monitors around here too.

    Also, not everyone lives in the USA, so checking "Newegg" isn't a reflex for everyone. But thanks for the link, arcade cabinets with 16:9 monitors just look.... weird.

    Text in newspapers is split up in small columns for a reason. Most people won't want to read text in lines of 200+ caracters at a time.

    Real browsers can zoom 200%, 300%, etc while preserving the layout (1 pixel becomes 2x2 or 3x3 pixels for JPEGs, CSS lines, etc) but at the same time give you much sharper text rendering.

    More importantly; as people get wealthier the amount of children they have drops down, for example I am an only child and so is my cousin.

    And some people never have any children, such as my parents.

    Why hasn't anyone asked about replacing those worn-out components and keep using the old printer? With 3D printers you could probably have the parts you need printed out.

    Or, the less expensive way, find one or more of the same printer model and just rebuild one from all the better components of all the printers?

    Your dream of buying a cheap personal printer that will last you two generations of Windows is simply impossible.

    For the longest time, if you bought a new computer they would practically throw printers at you.

    Yeah, that happened to me. I had to go to the hospital, too.
