    1) Many of us like Star Wars. It's just as stupid, just targetted at a different demographic. Taste does not make something stupid
    2) People care about what they do. No matter what happens, people emulate each other.
    3) Can you please give an example of a better candidate? Politicians in general kiss too much ass; our democracy will never pick a disruptive leader.
    4) That's capitalism. Players are paid that much because someone is willing to. Supply, meet demand.

    If they were developed by Physicists, they would be subject related. Psycologists are supposed to know how the brain works, and how we learn. That capacity for learning is what is (or should be) tested, not knowledge of physics or any other subject.

    Relax. People here aren't excited by windows 8 because they are already dreading the calls they'll get from their friends and family asking where the damn start button is.

    I haven't used windows for years...it still haunts me because i'm too polite to blow off everyone who asks me a computer question.

    Exactly this. I bought my wife an iPhone 4s to replace...her camera. Cell Phone Cameras are getting firmly in the range of "Good Enough", and DSLRs are big and heavy.

    yea, but the $100/mo plan that the subsidy requires could buy groceries. I am nowhere near the poverty line, and I didn't consider myself affording a smartphone until very recently...

    Are you saying that LulzSec does nothing wrong? If an irresponsible bank teller leaves my social security number on her desk, It's OK for someone to snap a picture of it? We have these laws for a reason. Granted, i'd never go back to the bank, but i'd like my information protected any way that is feasable.

    This may be blasphemy, but I like post-2005 Doctor Who more then the pre-1996 series. Tennant was my favorite Doctor, with Baker as a close second. I'm sure I'm not alone.
