That's pretty funny. I guess he never talked to my son or his daycare pals. One of the first things he ever learned to build with Lego was guns. Of course, he used to chew his Pop Tarts into a gun shape, too...
Stots has a web site, where they describe their product. I couldn't find anything on their site about the EULA, but they do have a feedback form: http://stots.com/form02.htm or Stots
If you don't like the way they do business, tell them about it.
We're introverts! Get over it. We don't *want* to be artificial extroverts. Have your party and enjoy yourselves. We'll go home and have our own lives, thank you very much.
And besides that, you are co-workers, *not* friends. I don't want to be your friend. I don't want to know about your relationship problems or your bad back or how many miles you ran over the weekend. Just back the hell up and let me do my job, okay?
"No mention of Linux, but I'd assume they'll treat non-Windows the same (until they have a Mac-only fix, of course)."
I am, unfortunately, a Qwest customer. That is exactly how they're dealing with it. I called them up and talked to a fairly nice person about the changeover. I explained that I run Linux.
Their response at this point is to treat me as a Mac user. They were vague on what they would do once they found a Mac solution. I didn't push the issue since I plan to have a real ISP well before that happens.
Good point! I'm all in favor of tightening down, to keep the trolls at bay. It's not censorship, it's filtering the signal to allow the communications to continue.
But maybe a balance on the other end would help things out. You've tightened down on the noisy end, maybe giving more moderator points will bring some of the better stuff up higher on the list as well. Let's keep that bell curve even, 'kay?
