Absolute nonsense. It causes nothing of the sort. You are blaming the gun instead of the guy pulling the trigger. The people who act on so-called libelous speech negatively without verifying it are the ONLY responsible parties here. The action is the problem, not the speech. If you are wrongfully deprived of income, then go after the jerk that deprived you. I don't care what he heard. I don't give a damn what was said. The people who ACT are the problem, no matter what the motivation. Luckily for all the anti free speech drones out there the law is on their side. And just as a reminder, the 1st amendment never had any real teeth, not since 1798 anyway. So I don't expect any protection there. And I am hoping that some type of true anonomizer actually comes online to actually protect free speech from these ninnies.

It's called hype. If the product isn't constantly pushed into our faces, we will forget about it, giving the alternatives more mind share. All this hype is to keep us focused on the "prize". With all the delays since its announcement(how many years has it been now?), how many continuous days has the product NOT been on the front pages of slashdot, a "Source for technology related news with a heavy slant towards Linux and Open Source issues.", according to Google?

When it no longer exists...and not until then. It will maintain its position until the end. That is a given. And, given that the voters will install a similar administration next time around, it won't change any time soon. So, in light of this sad situation, it will probably require military action from the outside to put this attitude aside, and replace it will someone else's hegenomy...and so on and so forth.
