A lot of our government offices are going digital, correct? So lets say we have an entire country (ie korea) that has X Million/Billion PCs on 100mbit internet connections, and they were to launch a DOS attack on our puny US networks. I'm not some big conspiracy fan but it's not that far-fetched.
It doesn't matter. All the monitoring in the world is no match for a teenage boy with some computer knowledge LOL. There is no true to way to watch your kid 24/7, and most of the times the children are more computer savvy, or have computer savvy friends, that will circumvent prying eyes.
The worst job I have ever come across was Sewage Diver. Basically you put on scuba gear and swim around in fecal matter to work on technologies in sewage tanks.
download.com dropped linux application support not too long ago, the apps were updated too often for them to keep up with. hopefuly they will be more dedicated to mp3
just some new way to make us hate ourselves for spending the money to buy equipment to create/listen to music that we love. i for one will not purchase this new medium until the recording equipment comes down in price. (remember paying 400$ for a cd burner?)
