It bothers me that the device has to be hacked to do what people want, and it bothers me that they're insecure enough that they can be jailbroken and forced to run arbitrary code with as little as a webpage view (ala jailbreakme.com).
Because people want to use these devices to do whatever they want, enormous effort is spent on jailbreaking them. This means that people with potential malicious intent could start exploiting the holes to do very bad things.

This survey is flawed on account of the fact that most games never make it to being a digital download on consoles. A lot of people would prefer not to have to get up and put in a new disc every time they want to swap out their media, but the consoles themselves are the limiting factor. It seems a game either needs to be indie, or 10 years old before that's an option.
This is another reason why we don't progress faster. The archaic belief that believing in an all-encompassing being somehow propels us forward. It does not, it sends us backwards. It would be fine if it was an individual belief that stays with the individual instead of creating mass hysteria and stupidity, but this is not the case. Religion is responsible for more human suffering and science slowdowns than any other thing on the face of the planet. It is a cancer, a cancer built on lies and self-delusion. It should be eradicated.

Just like the mice don't evolve genes to help them navigate mazes because that's something they don't need to do, we don't evolve smart humans because they don't need to be smart in order to survive.

When sony shoehorns the game in to a tiny form factor it just becomes clumsy and irritating. In my opinion the DS is no different. Portable game devices with 4" screens have no real staying power.
