Scary that that the high court of Mumbai thinks astrology is a science because it shows that the high court's members lack of understanding facts and reality
The same could be said for anyone who believes in God.
I'm still waiting for google to get it's ass in gear and release the update for the nexus one. Come on, google, you said it was going to be your damn reference hardware.
What apple is doing isn't necessarily wrong. You need to audit in order to have a healthy ecosystem. You just shouldn't be as draconian as apple is.
I mean, basic things like:
1) can't be done to death
2) shouldn't crash
3) shouldn't do evil things
should be common sense, but the market is flooded with examples of things which are broken or really bad.
Probably because there is no way to BUY angry birds on the android platform which I fucking hate.
They put ads in places where it makes the game more difficult to play. I would gladly pay to remove that trash.
This just solidifies my already very negative view of Facebook as a whole. Let other people throw their information and photos away, I will never sign up for an account again.
After I was as rich as that guy, I might quit too. How much money does one person really need? At what point do the hassles of making more money start to outweigh what the money does for you?
House Speaker John Boehner condemned the attack.
"An attack on one who serves is an attack on all who serve," he said in a statement. "Acts and threats of violence against public officials have no place in our society."
I don't support this shooting, but let's be real here. The US government is so full of shit. Acts and threats of violence are an every day tool of the US government.
But then you're stuck with interfaces which are generally sub-par for a table (unless you're using android) and there is no guarantee that android will be supported on any given device in future releases.
So you see, your statement is straight up bunk.
I have never met a single person who actually likes stylus input. Apple did the right thing by not including one. For the very few people out there who feel they need such a thing, styluses are sold by various vendors which worth with an ipad.
They got to those prices if you're buying a generation or two behind. The new iPhone/iPad are not $250/200 unless you're talking about the nano or mini.
Cheapest regular iphone (through apple) still requires a 2 year contract with AT&T - one of the worst providers on the planet. Given this, you're still spending $600.
Cheapest ipad is $499.
The only place where your argument holds true is with the regular ipod, which is $229 for the cheapest model.
...but I question the merits of a language that doesn't implement FOR or WHILE. Loops are a pretty important part of a language, and having to implement them using GOTO is stupid.
This guy has no relevance in today's era of programming (and had questionable relevance even before today). He hasn't done anything special and I don't know why people continually feel the need to post about this elitist asshole who has only had marginal success in the business with software built for pointy haired bosses that no programmer actually likes.
If you're applying at a job where they're convinced the name means something, then yes, it can matter. However, you could also be branded an elitist snob at other places where the name might be associated with that. The knife cuts both ways.
Beers all around!

India has retards in power. They obviously didn't consult an actual scientist on this.

99% of mobile apps are garbage regardless of platform. Quality should be the main focus, not quantity.
...knowing won't change the outcome. They're going to do it with, or without your consent.

Call me when a kinect or kinect-like device builds a 3D model that doesn't look like complete ass.

The show is pretty terrible, and I'm not sure there is anything worth fighting for here.
When was the last time apt, pkgsrc, or rpm tried to sell you something?
Or you'll buy 0 since they don't sell them to us.

That's the dumbest thing I've heard this month.

All that happens with that is the companies form a consortium that price fixes. You see it all the time with gas and oil.

I ask myself that all the time when xbox owners feel the need to show off their gamescore.
Why would I need an app for features most PS3 owners don't even use?
