  1. Re:Only the beginning on Rumors of iPod mini, 100 Million Songs, Xserve G5 All True · · Score: 1

Oh damn that sucks. I searched and found an artical about that. I don't understand why Apple would care so much about the convention being held in New York =/

  2. Only the beginning on Rumors of iPod mini, 100 Million Songs, Xserve G5 All True · · Score: 2, Interesting

Apple said it would be unveiling stuff all year long. Normally there is only 2-3 times per year. I wouldn't be surprised if they used the Boston Expo this summer to unviel the 20th aniversary edition of the Mac. This Keynote was good but I have to agree with other people about being disappointed over the Mini-Ipod. If they were $199 then that would be good but I don't think they are going to be the hit Apple expects.

  3. New pod is at least $99 on Mini-iPod Mystery Drive Unveiled? · · Score: 1

People are talking about how the Ipod is going to be $150 or $199 because of this drive. The new mini-Ipod has to have at least a $99 version to hit the target market. If your going to spend $199 you might as well get 5x the capacity for just $100 more. Whether Apple can do it who knows, but I will certainly be disappointed if they can't get one out there for $99.

  4. Re:Windows 98SE too? on Microsoft Retires Windows 98 · · Score: 2, Informative

I just found this: Among the products to be put to rest are older versions of some the Redmond, Wash.-based developer's flagship packages, including all versions of Office 2000, Visio 2000, all editions of Windows 98 except for Windows 98 Second Edition, Internet Explorer 5.5, and SQL Server 7. The artical from techweb

  5. Windows 98SE too? on Microsoft Retires Windows 98 · · Score: 1

I read yesterday that yes Windows 98 the orginal version was being retired, but not Windows 98SE, are you sure all versions of Win98 are being retired?

  6. Re:What about previews on Steve Jobs and the State of Legal Music Downloads · · Score: 2, Informative

Apple allows you to preview for 30 seconds most, if not all, songs before you buy.

  7. Apple lining up for campaign blitz on Steve Jobs and the State of Legal Music Downloads · · Score: 1

I would bet all this is leading up to a blitz campaign that will likely debut next year. The campaign will focus on moral intergrity and the new alternative to stealing music. They will have artists recommend using Apple's new iTunes service. People generally want to do the right thing, and when the right thing is so easy and convient to do people do it.

  8. Re:Still using google on Microsoft Introduces Competition For Google News · · Score: 1

You are the ignorant, self-centered, and greedy person if you think every person is American.

  9. Still using google on Microsoft Introduces Competition For Google News · · Score: 2, Insightful

I am still going to use google. It is a nice quick way to see the day's major events for technology and business. It works and is very orgnaized. Better to encourage the orginal creator to create more then to encourage the copier to copy more.

  10. Couldn't they set it on the Moon? on NASA Debates How And When To Kill Hubble Telescope · · Score: 1

Couldn't they make it so the hubble will land on the Moon? If they could somehow manage that it would be preserved until one day when it can be brought back to earth.

  11. Windows Sucks gets 100X more pages on Why Microsoft Wants to Buy Google · · Score: 2, Funny

I don't know if this was mentioned already but while "Windows" only gets around 2,300 hits "Windows Sucks" gets around 211,000 hits.

I was going to compare this to the number of Mac vs Mac sucks hits, but I had to stop when I did the Mac sucks search and the first entry was "Why Microsoft sucks".
