  1. This is an underrated comment.
    Now that people can binge on series, they can only pay for say a month, watch the series by several episodes a day, and put their subscription on hold till something else comes about.

    Automation may create some jobs. The job's created are not as many as the jobs destroyed. They know this, cutting out the middleman(the bank), allows them to have a greater part of a shrinking pie.

    Just like they are doing online. Do, say, or support something these tech companies don't like. You wake up the next day and your cards while still having money on them, are rejected.
    There's also the unchallenged legal aspect. In the united states paper money has been legally defined as usable to pay all debts public and private. Can a company legally refuse legal tender?

    I remember the days of windows 3.11 where every application had to have everything it needed in it's own folder to work. As a result you have half a dozen or more versions of the same library. Eating up space. Providing a nightmare for bug fixes..

    And for two reasons it will fail.
    The first is the same reason women don't go into stem, they just are not interested. Everyone accepts this other than the current anti science left.
    The second is that if a adult man in such a situation will constantly have to fight rumors, started by their female colleagues. That they are child abusers and what not. Remember we live in a culture where the father of a child on an airliner has been told to 'sit somewhere else' because the female passengers on the plane 'fear for the child's safety'.

    Add to that, supporting a movie that goes out of it's way to make fun of a demographic that is 'okay' to attack now makes it distasteful.
    Can you imagine the outrage if the races were reversed? a bunch of white men and women hooting and hollering like chimps at a black man?

    Newsflash, In the wild catching prey is hard. wolves will eat fruit and veggies as a 'desperation move' they biologically get very little nutrition out of it. this doesn't mean you should feed fido your strict vegan diet.
    cats are strict carnivores and only eat grass to induce vomiting. which in a side note is an interesting case of animal self medication..

    That is actually an interesting question.
    Intel approached trump for some favors and in return they would build a new fab plant in the united states adding a few thousand jobs.

    I doubt intel will do this, but they could go whine to him about big bad amd costing them and preventing them from making the fab plant.. Interesting times..

    In which case they might as well sell the robot tech. No one is going to take their cloud service.

    Be careful when you sign employment contracts. Some stipulate that as long as you are employed your creations belong to the company.
