    "Where are the parents" indeed. You see with your examples the "fixes" the parents are trying to implement effect not only the kids they're trying to protect but *every* consumer. Some of which don't want or need parental protection.

    So if it does take a village to raise a child, [A point I will not dispute because I don't have a child.] great, organize your village parenting as needed. I'm all for the PTA, and the Boy Scouts and even parent warnings on video games/CDs. These organizations presume you have a kid and their services apply *only* to people involved with kids. In fact, anything which helps parents but *does not* impede non-parents, is fine by me.

    I am of the opinion child rearing should begin and end in the family's home and not extend into mine.

    I dislike Acrobat and hate Flash. Wow! You got apathy in my animosity! You got animosity in my apathy! Now I can hate you both at once in one convenient location! I think Macromedia should be fined for creating the abomination which plagues every FWORD'n site on teh intarweb.

    I don't need a camera in my phone or a calendar or an organizer. I don't anytime minutes, I don't need a friends and family plan. How about instead of anytime minutes you give me some "anywhere" reception and we'll work from there.

    Hacking into corporate systems with the intent of collecting credit card information, I assume for the purpose of identity theft, is a serious crime.

    Unfortunately there are a few sites that we use here at work that simply do not work in Firefox0.9. (I just converted the entire office.)

    Hmm... Well put! I have to agree with you and reverse my assertion of silliness. After all what good is articulation if certain words don't carry more weight than others.

    How else could one use emphasis if not by the careful selection of words by the speaker and the adherence to a common definition by the listener.
