I just invented a stick filled with ink to make signs on paper with! Now, where is my prize? I also invented how to make heat out of wood, I call it "burnination". I think I'll patent that.
And? They entered legally, noone knew they are terrorists. If they'd try to enter nowadays under the same conditions they'd still not be stopped even with fingerprints checked and photos taken. All it would do is provide CNN with better pics for the stories.
And given that BS I will not visit the US this autumn as planned. I don't support fascist regimes.
Considering PDAs with integrated Bluetooth, wlan and whatnot this thing doesn't really stand a chance with that pricetag. And even with a possible linux l33tness bonus I'd rather pick up a zaurus than that thing. Err, or in general an oqo once the vapor around it vanishes.
"And IMO, open source is a hell of a lot easier to support, especially since the people with the problems, usually know how to go about fixing them, and will send patches."
I have no damn clue about how to solve a problem beyond mere configuration troubles. Witing a patch? in which language? I speak english and german. Oh, you mean a programming language? I guess html doesn't count?
What are these pounds you are talking about? There are quite a few different "pounds" in use across the world. How about using the agreed standard kilogram instead? There is only a single definition for it. thanks. It pays to be clear in what you say.
I was originally thinking "keep that shit away from me!" but then I realized that it means that a network which incorporates it would be free of RIAA songs meaning it would be made easy for me to steer clear of anyone associated with them while giving anyone who wants to see his songs traded a good platform.
They are barred from threatening others and trying to extort money from them *unless* they can prove their claims. This is not an opinion being stated, this is possibly a crime and a business based on it.
what if MS comes up with a way to actually make the OS so fool proof (in Bizarro World) that no Womrs/Viruses/Whatever have a chance at all? No Virus scanners needed? Maybe in the trustes computing houpla? Would also make Companies marketing virusscanners redundant. Same shit different wrapping - still antitrust worthy? How exactly can anyone cry foul play if a company takes care of the problems in their software anyway? "hey, give us all the vulnerabilities back and some more, we can't survive without them!".
my personal timeline in this is: there was a Comanche game out when I had a Pentium 60. If they since then still haven't gotten that thing operational it's doomed. Like Duke Nukem Forever.
Well, now is your chance to step forward and tell us about some of the exciting experiments and discoveries which are made on the ISS each day which make the ISS worthwhile compared to the Hubble as far as the money / knowledge-gain ratio goes. Actually, you should have included some examples in your above comment as it to me just looks like hot air so far.
Dude, Streetfighter 2 was from Capcom and had absolutely nothing to do with either SNK or the Neo Geo. Get a clue. Now someone please mod the parent down, that comment is completely wrong.

Zaurus SL-C860 Review
·
· Score: 3, Informative
The 860 is not the latest and greatest. As far as Zaurus' goes the SL 6000 is the newest addition supposedly to be released shortly including models with Wifi and BLuetooth integrated. It's also back to the old formfactor with slideout keyboard. I want one.

Most of them actually want cameras and whatnot built into their phones. Maybe you don't, but that makes you the minority. There were phones without cameras for sale and some with. Those with sell better. Deal with it. You want to boycott them now? I doubt any of the manufactureres will lose any sleep over that.
the cause for all the pages the other guys find being out of date is that searching for a chinese company building the maglev won't get you anywhere. It's a german company who invented and built it. the page is at www.transrapid.de
Because the absolute majority of their customers is running Windows on Desktops. Most of them might not have faith in a company which drops internal support for their product of choice and consider their business to be better taken care by another company. That is why IBM making a lot of fuss about such a move is a bad thing for IBM.

At least it doesn't look like some slick statement written by their lawyers.

Why does my browser need a database? I don't understand!
Osama is building a Deathstar or what is the justification?
Says someone who only added ballast and meaningless drivel. I'm sorry that I'm sorry that I'm obviously superior to you. ta ta, fuck_this_shit
Too bad that I unlike you did contribute a factual correct reply to the topic at hand which makes you look like a moron. regards, fuck_this_shit
