shame ive got no mod points, ive been arguing that we have stopped evolving (at least on a postive way) for a while. natural selection might be unfortunate for those who dont survive, but we wouldnt be where we are today if some of our ancestors didnt die to put us on this path.

mozilla foundation dont have the man power of MS to internally test their product, so they release it for testing, if it worked ok for you during the test period then you got a bonus.

you should know how these machines are getting infected.... infected machines are scanning ip ranges and infecting vulnerable machines that have the required ports open (135 is one i know off hand)
all you need to do is install windows xp with network connection unplugged, then enable the built in firewall on your network connection after installation...
connect to windows update and download away.
then, if you wish, can disable the firewall. tho i do recommend a hardware based solution.
am i the only one that finds XP to be the worse MS OS yet?
windows 2000 is cleary the best, its stable (as can be) and doesnt require 2x the resources just to run the OS which leaves more for apps/games....

wrong, you can access Samba shares and some "crazy-cool" new protocols that have been designed for use with XBMC.
these new protocols have a program that will run as a service/daemon (windows/linux)
