It is very sad to see, that the results of the current space exploration are always met by childish discussions of which space agency is better and more succesful.
I am quite sure that the the Mars Express team was very aware of the existing discoveries when they designed the instruments and that they by no means intend to steal the credit for the achievements of others.
However, when it comes to please the politicians who pays for the party, it can be necessary to wrap the results in glittering paper. Just try to watch CNN tomorrow night...
This is not a great idea! You don't wan't moving equipment on the ISS, at least not anything that has the size of Hubble.
And if you were to launch a mission to equip a Hubble-class telescope on ISS, it would be far better design an instrument specifically to the task instead of trying to mount Hubble as it is.
They do! If they didn't, the relativity theory would fail completely, and you would not have a theory that predicts gravitational waves.
When one solves Einstiens field equations for a space-time perturbation, which is exactely what a gravitational wave is, it is found that the solution is that of a plane wave, traveling at the speed of light (or is it light that travels at the speed of gravity?)
Now correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe that producing seeds isn't exactly the only way a plant can spread over a very large area.

Feed me, Seymour!

This is great! I didn't realize that it is possible to get rid of pop-ups so easily although it is a rather obvious thing to do.
