    100Mb is good enough for most devices isn't really luddite.

    It's called practicality, at least from a home point of view, where a handful of average devices will still have a hard time saturating a 100Mb link.

    Where does it say that?

    TFA says "Excess energy is stored in 4 lithium polymer batteries that provide backup power for night flights."

    On the project website, it talks about gliding down during the night to conserve energy from battery usage, and cruising up during the day.

    I can't find anywhere that says it needs to land to charge its batteries.

    But it would stop a lot of spam, torrent sites, controversial political sites, paranoia sites, whistleblower sites, porn, and assorted scams. Not all people wanting the anonymity and no questions asked policy of cyberbunker are criminals. But most will be.

    None of those are actually crimes. Torrenting *can* be used for criminal copyright violations, but it isn't a crime by itself.
