    I loved the stat that came from Voyager 1.

    It's been going 38,000 mph for 35 years. And it's just now leaving our local solar system.

    So I'll buy the one at $4.99, but I'm not buying the ones at $13.99.

    If you just sell milk, what's your loss leader? White milk? And then REALLY premium price chocolate milk?

    How is it the same price to pulp a tree, print it, package it, and ship it to my house as it is to copy a digital file and send it over the internet

    It isn't, but that's not up to Amazon.

    The publishers are charging more, to make more profit. Just like any business would like to do.

    That doesn't mean it makes good business sense though. I think ~$1 less would be a good price point, cheaper for customers and more profit for publishers.

    No, he said the shuttle could have overtaken Voyager. Even if was actually faster, which it's not, it was not built to endure long distance space travel.

    So, it couldn't have on two accounts.

    Or they could have hacked some small developer who wasn't overly careful with his records and AntiSec ended up with a few real UDIDs.
    Then blamed it on the FBI.

    Or they could have hacked an FBI laptop, just the one that had Apple UDIDs on it.

    I have no idea, but I have heard of Occam's Razor.

    Yeah, but that ~1kps difference needs to make up 10 billion km.

    That's about 315 years. So your new probe has to last that long. At least.

    Also, you're ignorant of how most software these days comes for a Mac. It's on a disk image. Download & install. Even the OS. No need for a DVD drive. The most common use for mine? Installing Windows software in Parallels.

    2. Video player/manager/recommendation system
    3. Device manager
    4. App manager
    5. Music purchase
    6. Video purchase
    7. App purchase

    What would you cut out while still keeping it simple for *everyone* to manage their devices/music/video/apps/etc.

    I have never doped, and, unlike many of my accusers, I have competed as an endurance athlete for 25 years with no spike in performance, passed more than 500 drug tests and never failed one. That USADA ignores this fundamental distinction and charges me instead of the admitted dopers says far more about USADA, its lack of fairness and this vendetta than it does about my guilt or innocence.
