Why is this moderated as Flame Bait? This is the truth. We are supposed to be the enterprising free. We can't be that if the government tells us how much milk to drink, how to live and who we can marry. On top of that, we get to pay them 30% or more of our paycheck for them to say things like "Hmm, where DID we put that 9 billion dollars?" Say what you want about the current crop of Republicans. All but one of them are pandering old school politicians. Hillary and Obama (yes, him too) are both part of the political machine. Check out his record. He is about changing the guard, but not the message. Wow, the stormtroopers get new uniforms, but they are still building the death star, folks.

Saying it was .50 cal is like saying it was a 300Mhz computer. What CPU? a 300Mhz sparc vs a 300Mhz Cyrix is a different deal entirely.

The problem with "black people on plantations" was that there were issues at the time with recognizing their person-hood and humanity. These were ultimately wrong and to ensure that it was observed, an amendment to the Constitution was enacted. ALL people within our control are protected by these provisions.

actually, the stock price reflects the expectations of the company and its ability to perform on a consistent basis. That is why there is a P/E ration and a forward looking P/E ratio. The problem is when stocks trade out of line for their P/E in their industry. Why is it that in the 70s, so many stocks were in the 20 P/E ratio and today there are tons of 100+ P/E stocks? People want fast bucks and don't realize that the piece of the company they trade are not collector's plates from Franklin F'ing Mint.
