Firstly, my power goes out a million times more than my DSL ever has. Even if that weren't true for everyone, it's very naive to think that just because you still have power, your BPL will automatically still work. My DSL has gone out while still having a connection to my ISP. There are too many things along the line to just assume if one works, they all do.
If there's a comma "Thanks, Andy" then it is addressed from Andy. No comma, "Thanks Andy" would be addressed to Andy.
Actually, direct address always requires a comma. For example: "Thanks, Andy, for writing that virus." "Andy, thanks for writing that virus." "Thanks for writing that virus, Andy."
...or it could just be cheaper to print one set of labels and caps during the promotion and distribute them, rather than making two versions of everything, keeping them all separate, and figuring out which ones go to which distrubutor...
Wow, have you used a Mac in the past 10 years? I can't say that didn't all used to be true, but you should try updating your arguments for this century.
