I agree. Ever since the merger of HP and Compaq HP has never been better. The products out perform any of the dells or IBMs that I currently use for the companies I maintain. From their latest 9000 and 8000 series laptops to their DL servers which are very stable. I think Carly was a hard nose CEO but her strategies saved the company from demise.
Longtime IBM notebook buyer for my company but the idea that they are now made by walmart country I've switched to HP. Matter of the fact the new HP/Compaq business models are awesome. I've always stayed away from HP but lately their products are a step up above the rest. The quality is very good. I'm now a dedicated HP buyer. Bought 15 nw8240s and 2 nx9240s models from HP. Everyone at my company wants one. To bad IBM sold out.
You know I dont post much here but I am beginning to read less and less of slashdot do to the number of people who has to cut microsoft every time they are mentioned. I only see jelousy and hatred towards MS. A lot of child acting without any legitiment arguments about the articles. Come on people its just microsoft. get over it.

looks to me a hardware glitch not a software glitch. Probably overheated in some case.
