    i never turn off my windows box anyway, it takes too long to logout, and also to shutdown, so i just keep it on all the time and then it reboots whenever it feels like (when it crashes)

    I agree, I think Linux certainly has a very long way to go to match-up to QNX, though to be fair one targets servers and the other targets life support-like machines in Hospitals, but Linux isn't anywhere near QNX, and shouldn't even try to be, and shouldn't be expected to be.

    128 kBits/sec!, i'm running at 256k up and 512k down, and my connection and computer didn't cost the $400m or whatever it was. NASA should shop around instead of going for whatever ISP approaches them first.

    SCO can be blamed for this, but when it comes down to it UL wasn't making any progress for ages before this, it had a big hype then didn't do anything, I think all the partner companies realised it wasn't working, this SCO crap just finish it all off.

    I simple want a search engine, and are yet to use anything else from Google. If I was them, I'd probably prefer to start these things up under a different name, at the moment most of their stuff is hidden in Google.com which most people won't find unless they go huntin`.
