Question how do we keep sites from scanning our PCs to see if we have an ad blocker installed? what can be done if anything to stop them from doing that. If they can scan for an ad blocker im guessing they are scanning for everything we have installed.
Well the only thing i can tell you is keep reporting. For when the FCC finally does do something about it every complain is added in to the final fine. The million dollar fines are the 10,000 per complaint call all added up. They win when we give up.
ya know i bought a cam for 9 bucks on ebay there isn't a cover built in or even a light to tell me its on. Shit it might be on now??. post-it wont work either I,m going to have to build a flap i can flip lol no worries though, I,m not a FB member;}
Are you sure? You have seen the settings of Flash Player right? How many people even know about those settings? Any site can be using flash player to collect voice and video
This is not malware at all. No ones being fooled into installing it. You have to read and if you don't read that's YOUR fault. I'm pretty sure MS going to get sued and MS will loose because its not tricking anyone into installing it and if you don't read the agreement that again is YOUR faults. Ask did install this toolbar without permission in the past and they get sued for it too so im not sticking up that. Is Ask is a good trustworthy business? No they are not, that is a fact. but in this case Ask isn't doing anything wrong. Please show me how this install is being 1. forced install 2. uses trickery to get installed? 3. cant be uninstalled
Who said make security probes illegal? i sure didnt. No hacker should have the power to put everyone at risk because a software maker is taking too long to fix a bug. No software maker should be allowed to sick lawyers and wave copyright in order to get out of fixing bugs. No hacker should be allowed to create software to exploit any bugs,no hacker should be allowed to show the code or a working exploit for at least 2 years after a bug fix has been issued. That,s my suggestions to create a safer web, a safer computing experience. As it stands now both sides are being dicks IMO
I think so called security researchers need to be tested and licensed to do what they do. A hairdresser needs a licensed, an auto mechanic who inspects cars for inspection needs to pass tests get a license. But anyone with a PC can hack whatever,whoever whenever and answer to no one? is somehow fair?
So you think they would rather climb a ladder or visit the unemployment line? The drone makes the rich more rich they wouldn't pass the saving on to the flying public shame on you if they think they would.
What you call networking we call advertising.I'm betting business use FB because it allows them free advertising. We sure know they couldn't give a rats ass about my family reunion except to advertise a product i might be able to use at it. lol and no i am not a FB member.
I disagree. reason? Godzilla is the star of the movie. And the 10 minutes was more then the actual amount of screen time. It was a total ripoff. the only thing making it worth while was they did a great job recreating him this time, the last Godzilla movie was a joke as well, just an over grown T-rex.
Its the stupid reboots that is hurting the movies. I don't want to pay to see how Spiderman got his powers...again, Ive been reading the comics forever.I know it by heart. They should take a clue from James Bond a new actor just jumps right in. That's how is should be IMO.
Just curious, what kinda spying/data collection is it doing? voice collection? Video collection? games played? movies watched? Photos stored? Web sites visited? if it has that capacity? Live video? And why should anyone trust them not to collect all those nice things we do. I think in this day and age theses are the questions we have to ask when we make hardware purchases.
Problem is millions have been burned already. Their were tons of image storage/ Backup Storage sites that busted with the bubble long ago. Everyone looses everything when theses places go under with no way to get it back.So people are not dumb, we know a marketing catch word when we see it. They cant be trusted history has already proved that.
Its all about money. It all about insurance, love has nothing to do with it. But put the tag of marriage on it then, then it becomes a tax loophole, a tax deduction, or the ability to add the same sex non family member to your insurance. this whole thing has nothing to do with love its all about the all mighty $$$$ and what tax break they can get from it.
What about the radiation problem. How are the humans going to be protected from the radiation theses satellites have absorbed in there time in orbit?

As long as our politicians have to suck from the corporate tit to get campaign money, this will never ever change.
