Galusha and Bartl used optical studies and theory to predict optical properties of the scales' structure. The prediction matched reality: green iridescence.
Mr. AC, how difficult would it be to theoretically change the structure to reflect a different wavelenth -- red for instance?
A simple search on Google will bring any number of articles on the decline of the American mall {even though TFA discusses UK malls}. The article(s) specifically state the financially affluent are abandoning the malls. Despite what the articles may summarize, the reason I don't shop in malls is simple -- mall stores carry nothing I need. I park outside the single store I need to visit, get the items I require, and leave.
I am quite confident any tracking will show an inverse relationship between time spent in the mall and actual shopper's spending.
Please provide a complete mathematical proof of your theory. Complete and accurate citations for your assertions of Web growth rate and size of the Web will be required.
...understands the world in a way that was hatched out in San Fransisco
Is that why Powerset failed to grasp the question "Why won't my wife go to a football game at Lambeau Field in December?" whoops, something went wrong!
Unfortunately, yes. I have some old HP JetDirect cards which only work with IE5. I keep a (unpatched, not updated, SP0) Windows XP VM around just to connect to those printers.
The dominant OS in the world easiest way to fix is by re-installing!! Just seems weird...
Why, YES, with a proper network install server, install configuration, binary server, and network mounted home directories, Linux is much easier to reinstall than repair. The same can be said for Windows (XP or newer), Solaris, and many *nix systems. I can fix a system during lunch and a meeting.
Locally stored user data and locally installed applications is a completely different item. This is subject to the speed and availability of the backup system.
This process is nothing similar to annealing-- annealing changes the physical properties of the metal without changing the form (significantly). This process is changing the form of the metal without changing the physical properties.
And, Solaris does not have this self-inflicted problem:
Open-iscsi does not use the term node as defined by the iSCSI RFC, where a node is a single iSCSI initiator or target. Open-iscsi uses the term node to refer to a portal on a target.
Try VMware Worstation (or ESX if you have money to burn). Install OS in VM, register with MSDN. Snapshot; backup VM to media. Develop, restore snapshot. And, you saved yourself the hassle of reinstalling the OS again. And, you are assured of having the exact same development base OS every time.
How about female, blond, and spacy? Reese Witherspoon did an amazingly interesting job in Legally Blond with both the technical aspects of the law; and the satire. Instead of a mullet how about a disarmingly, blond, geeky smile? And pink; don't forget the pink.
BECKERMAN: The law runs the country. This is a nation of law, not a country of lawyers
Quite a catchphrase. Beckerman for President in 2012? If you handle pointless repetitive reporter questions as well as pointless litigious RIAA morons, you could do well!

Are you afraid of new technology? Don't like it when your comfortable Internet existence is shaken up by change? Sure, I had to look at all 5 sites NoScript blocked; and unblock 2 sites to get all the relevant content.
Be thankful you still have the choice of what content to accept and what to block with a proper open source, modern web browser. Be thankful one of the innovative cartoonists of our time is continuing to attempt to expand the horizons of satire and humor. Be thankful you don't have to pay for this content unless you specifically choose to purchase his product.
The only element of the design I think is short sighted is the layout -- narrow and long. Most modern LCD displays' aspect ratio is wider than it is long.
Although a University's supposed goal is to educate, the question to ask is who do they educate best and who doesn't the particular University educate well? I chose the wrong private University. This particular University only graduated %25 of the incoming freshman class; and they knew it. Their whole financial model -- and educational operation -- was based on this fact. Courses were brutal and chemical recreation was rampant.
I suggest you reconsider your objective; and the questions you ask.
...it seems like a game of "monkey in the middle"...
The most succinct and accurate description I have ever seen of any MBA program.
Harvard has determined the OSS ecosystem is now large enough to sustain a population of MBA monkeys. I suggest the OSS community remove the monkey sustenance from their ecosystem immediately if not sooner.
A far better liquid heat sink is readily available, about 15 degrees cooler on average, and Chicago understands the value of a good flame.
In California, the heat sink will likely one day completely submerge the datacenter. Great for cooling; bad for uptime.
How many petaflops could you process with a Beetle Cluster?

Outstanding real examples. And very informative for those who question why system admins/DBAs distrust just about everyone.

Google was smart enough (#9) to provide this wonderful woman's answer.

Do you also leave all the windows and doors on your personal residence open and unlocked at all times?

Whatever made you ask this question?
How about female, blond, and spacy? Reese Witherspoon did an amazingly interesting job in Legally Blond with both the technical aspects of the law; and the satire. Instead of a mullet how about a disarmingly, blond, geeky smile? And pink; don't forget the pink.
Did her response look like this?
That's funny.
Could you translate that into old Elvish to make it sound less darkly evil and more sagely beneficial?

I guess either the moderator's browser or intellect does not resolve the embedded tag effectively.
