That's something that that I'd really like to see. I was very surprised when reading this though... as all of their software was now meant for good things. If they are going to be shutdown for making backup software, I wonder who's next?
My Compaq Presario 2100 has a 3 hour battery life. If I go to a cafe though, I usually plug it into the wall. I'm going to try to find a battery that has a longer life though.

True. The only time I ever have to use it is when I'm at school. But depending on how good my friendship is with the teacher, I sometimes install OpenOffice on my computer, just because I don't want to have to deal with the bulkiness of MS Office.
Yeah, just another thing for Microsoft to stick their fingers into. First the search engine, then the e-mail storage (which they were not the first to follow, but still), and now the news system. What's next? Microsoft's version of Froogle? It'll never stop.
Yeah, and I'm pretty sure they would overlook the code a few times before actually using the program -- even after someone else edited it. So say if someone in Asia that hates us Americans took a piece of the e-Voting source code and really trashed it up, I'm really sure someone would search and find it before actually compiling the software and letting it go.
I'm pretty sure that Motorola would have a say in this, since they are developing the phones after all.;) And since they do, the battery life should be absolutely awesome. My Motorola v400 phone's battery life is simply amazing -- I can charge it and leave it on for three days straight. I've never used an iPod though, but I hear the battery life isn't that good. I guess it's good that Apple isn't designing the phones then.
You probably won't find it strange, but my pick would probably be from my cellphone. It shows up very beautiful on my Motorola v400 phone. I've also made a couple of comments from it and meta-moderated. Other than that, I've DVed out to my 55" television once to play some games and I loaded SlashDot on it. It was quite a sight -- too bad I didn't take pictures. But yeah, on average, I read from my home network or if I get time, at school.
Hmm, you'd think that Nails would damage the book, eh? Or at least scratch it up some. Unless, of course, they are used for something else.
I find it very interesting how far our robotics have gone so far. Many people think that it could have gone a lot further, but I'm not really sure. After all, we do have that automatic oven now. Sure, it's not a robot, but I think I'd rather have it over a robot that grabs my book for me. I have legs and a card catalog! But I'm not a senior citizen... so I guess they'd rather have both. Hah.
You mean ifSoftware?;) And yeah, it's pronounced either "II DD Software" or "IDD Software" kind of like "It Software," but with a D in replace of the It.
Okay. This is the last time I'm going to reply. It's been fun pissing you off. I find it rather funny how you think I actually care... I just laugh at stupid people like you who waste their time typing an entire fucking paragraph that I don't even bother to read. You're a fool.
I'm replying to the first thing you said, dumbass. Why the fuck do you keep replying in entire paragraphs? I told you I'm not reading it. Does it help your fat ass ego problem? Take a hint and go away.
No. I'm just noticing that you're replying in entire paragraphs. I'm not going to bother reading them, so I'd advise you to shut the hell up and stop wasting your time. All of this is over one simple mistake I made... get over it.
Oh my God... I made one simple mistake and I have a fucking english major all over my ass. Why don't you go correct other people and get off my ass? I don't think making the mistake of effect and affect is going to make me look like that much of a fool, rather than you commenting and making yourself look like a jackass.
Why do you fucking care? It's none of your business. At least I don't talk like "omg its too kewl n stuff" So maybe you might want to take your long ass paragraph and direct it towards people like that. Go away.
That's nice as all, but whey the fuck did my post get modded down to Troll? I think some of our SlashDot moderators are a bunch of morons. THIS is something that should be modded as a troll. Because I am a huge fan of both Linux and Mac, and was only asking a few simple questions in my previous post.
And I guess you had a little bitch come mod your post up, because as true as it was, it was so offtopic. Why not comment about what I said, other than correct me? Look at all of the other SlashDot posts with horrible grammar... But yeah, I guess you just had a reason to respond to me only, so I'll just deal with it.
Yeah. Besides money, I don't see another way they would stick around through all of this bullshit. I mean... SCO can't prove anything. I would seriously hate to be the wife of one of SCO's lawyers... having to worry about when my husband is going to lose, and well, worrying why the hell I'm thinking like a girl when I'm a guy. But yeah, for those that can't see my strange point, I'd just really like to know what the driving force behind SCO's lawyers are. I thought that by keeping on with a long case like this and losing would look horrible on their records? I know they haven't lost yet, but they aren't exactly winning...
Short, sweet, and to the point. I just know that if I was to visit a website that I didn't know was effected and caught something, I'd be pretty pissed. Just as if I had sex with someone who had AIDs when I didn't know it. Of course, there is protection either way.... one is a condom and the other being good ol' MoZilla. But you probably get my point.
I would really hate to see how the people that are hired to click links tell their dates what their profession is.
Jane: So what do you do for a living?
Billy. Uhh. I click links...
Jane: That's... uhh.. interesting. My last boyfriend went into space.
Billy: Well, I bet I make more money than him...
Jane: Hmm.

"The Sega Dreamcast console, which died an early commercial death, has recently seen some amazing new projects mainly aimed at emulation."
"Who says the Dreamcast is dead?"
Appearantly you.

And no, there is no way in hell your phone has that good of a battery life.

Who says my phone went dead after three days? It's day three and my phone battery isn't depleted yet. ;)

Ha, blah blah blah, yet again, I'm not reading that. Why the fuck do you always reply in an entire paragraph? Shut the hell up. -_-
I'm not going to read all of that... It's not a BIG DEAL. Jesus Christ you have an enormous ego.
