Noam Chomsky's "Necessary Illusions" has a very good look at why US news media is practically useless.
Short version: the media companies have trained themselves to avoid conflict with the powers that be. The powers that be hardly need to come down on media anymore. These days if you see a news story regarding the powers that be coming down on the media - it's fluff.

You're 100% correct. The vast majority of Americans have been brainwashed into thinking there are only two choices. Repulicans and Democrats, hardly a choice at all. I call fallacy.
Really, what is the difference? They spend how many hours a week killing things to get to a higher level so they can kill different things. WTF does Blizzard care as long as they get their monthly fee? They could just setup a bot friendly server/land/domain whatever.
- The waste of time / energy required to manage the computer (security, virus, etc)
- The user-efficiency related to the operating system itself
- The differences in sleep modes and energy consumption at low usage
These points only apply to the OS, not the hardware manufacturer...

I'm curious as to what kind of IP structure Denmark has, as well as the other top tech countries, even China. Do all these governments get their IP laws dicated to them by big money corporations?
It is a rare occasion when I am rooting for MS. I would love to see MS buy Take Two and release the same kind of content Take Two would, then DARE Jack Thompson to sue...
