Yes, that sounds reasonable. I haven't actually blocked the Google text ads (didn't know how until I saw iframes mentioned in this story). Until my attitude changes (I suspect it will sometime) I'll probably be blocking the Google image ads though. They are more intrusive and bigger to download anyway, and I have a slowish connection.

I do wish people would not try to convince me of that! As I mentioned in another post, it's like at amazon.com where I have an account. I get bombarded with all kinds of recommendations, most popular lists, the Gold Box, etc. Some may consider that sort of placement useful, but not I. The relevancy doesn't count to me. I don't want to be fed/baited/lured/tickled by advertising anymore than I already am.

GTA is still preferable on a joypad, it has too many instantly required moves at fingertips to make keyboard/mouse play fully worthwhile.
Silly. It doesn't take long to get used to the controls on a PC and set it up how you want it. I never had to fumble playing the game using kb and mouse. You didn't say you did either - just that you prefer 'joypad' (whatever the hell that is! 1970s...). Sounds like you're just favouring the consoles. And of couse, you can get any number of joypads for a PC.

True but with camera phones at the moment it's generally the case that more pixels = better quality. It's not like there's much else to differentiate them anyway, and the lenses are all so tiny. I've seen some pretty decent images from some J-phone model (can't remember what brand it was) with a high-res sensor.
Tried any PC racing games? How about LFS, or the upcoming GTR. I dunno. Console racing games just don't cut the mustard for me generally. Not enough depth, not as fun online.
