    Actually, there are a few programs that allow you to change your CD key and reactivate Windows without formatting and reinstalling.

    In resposne to the last part of your posting, one cannot select a cochlear implant to compensate for ranges in which one has trouble hearing. A cochlear implant destroys all remaining hearing that a person has, making them entirely reliant on the implant.

    Not sure about the hackability of PalmOS, but I would tend to think that it'd be pretty pliable. The new Treo 600s are the size of a normal cell phone, it's really amazing, so you shouldn't count it out based on size.

    They were your favorite airline? You obviously don't live in Detroit. Here, we call them Northworst, and it really doesn't surprise me. This is after they've used taxpayer money to build an addition to our airport that they're now calling the "Northwest World Gateway," totally ignoring its actual name.

    I've got an 9 year old Dell monitor that's still working fine. It gets me 1600x1200 and is 21", with a very clean image. It generates an awful lot of heat, but it's otherwise still good.
