Right, but the sex minigame doesn't add any additional violence. The only thing it adds is sexual content. So the only logical conclusion is that the "updated" AO rating is based solely on the new "sexual content".

I am grateful to you for firing michael. Not only was he a shitty editor, but he was totally belligerent and always abusing his power. Zonk is a great improvement. However, it seems that despite earning 20K a year just to read this site and hit the "Approve" button on submitted stories, Zonk still won't take the time to actually read his own site. Get Zonk to stop with the freakin' dupes, seriously. He just needs to read the site for maybe half an hour a day.

True, but the way we're currently going about it is hardly the most effective. And we mustn't let our government twist this tragedy around as the USA did for 9/11.

"They're brainwashed enough to strap explosives on their bodies and blow up children."

The original comment which you took offence to was: "Maybe someone's mad they didn't get to host the Olympics?? Sheesh."

In what way does this make fun of the bombing victims? I don't see any thing along the lines of "haha, they got blown up". Here's my point: the original post was making fun of the people who did the bombing, not the victims. So in what way is it offensive to the victims of the bombings? But, hey, I don't think you actually bothered to, you know, read the fuckin' comment before you took offence. No, you just saw someone making a comment that wasn't "oh no this is a tragedy this is all blair's fault :( :(" and assumed they were making fun of the victims. You are a hypersensitive whiner.

  16. What are you talking about? on Six Bomb Blasts Around Central London · · Score: 2, Insightful

"Just the right kind of attitude to keep the cycle of hatred going and going."

No, it isn't. If anything, the grandparent poster was apathetic. Apathy doesn't keep the cycle of hatred going. The thing that keeps the cycle of hatred going is blind rage. "HOW COULD THEY DO SUCH A THING???" If anything, apathy acts to help halt the cycle of hatred.

  17. Yep. on Six Bomb Blasts Around Central London · · Score: 1

After all, regardless of whether we care or not, they're still dead. We can't magically bring back from the dead the victims of these bombings by crying crocodile tears about them or using them as an excuse to start a phony war. Life isn't all sunshine and roses. The dead are dead; let's recognise that and move on.

  18. Let's face it. on Six Bomb Blasts Around Central London · · Score: 1

The parent poster is quite obviously a moron. He wants anyone who disagrees with his viewpoint to be killed. For a self-proclaimed patriot, it seems odd that he's forgotten about a little thing the USA was founded on called freedom of speech.

  22. What's the defining feature for me? on Mix Wi-Fi and Portable Digital Audio, Get Aireo · · Score: 1

Wireless is, for me, nice but not essential. The real killer feature which this has in my view is its ability to play OGGs up to a nominal bitrate of 180KB/s. This, combined with its 8Gb of musical capacity at 128KB/s, make this the perfect music player who find OGG much easier to use than AAC, FLA, MP3 and WMA. It also allows me to store even the longest Yes albums on a single device!

  23. Linux encroaching non Western countries on Are Geeks in Saudi Arabia Just Like Us? · · Score: 2, Interesting

To be honest, I found the article on the takeup of Linux more interesting than whether or not geeks in another country are just like us. The fact that Linux is being used in the space infrastructure of Saudi Arabia will no doubt help to accelerate its adoption in poorer countries such as the Indian south subcontinent and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I was also impressed by the sheer standard of Linux knowledge displayed by the Saudi computer expert considering that over there in the country they estimate its market share to be only 4%. (Note that that's greater than in the UK or the US, though.)
