So, if both pilot and co-pilot die, which has a very slim chance of happening, someone only has to disable/disrupt/jam/take over the transmitter and know the protocol and encryption keys.

Problem there, is that you can't predict what plane will have both pilot and co-pilot die, and you can't be constantly ready to take over/jam/whatever every single plane up there.

Actually, if you do it right, you can be at level 60 in under 5 days of /played. There's a guide out there of someone who does speed runs from 1-60 (and now 70). I'm not sure about their time from 1-70, but their fastest 1-60 is like 4 days 20 hours of played time.

But you are right. If instead of WoW, I had done something else with that time I'd be able to speak a second language or play the guitar. But I played WoW and I enjoyed playing it. I've made some friends and had some lulz, and isn't that the goal of life?

I'm not trying to be "conformist" in that I tend to solo quest and don't join guilds. But the rewards from WoWing are such that it makes me need to play. I also think about it CONSTANTLY when I'm not playing.

If your hobby was building little boats in bottles, and someone knocked your bottles off of the shelf, destroying or damaging them, you would be pissed.

His hobby is EVE, and they bumped his bottle, causing damage to his tiny ship.

Just because it's not real events doesn't mean it's not a real hobby.

If you check the "Blizzard Friends" page, it thanks the people who were in their last beta, and lists 50 or so people in their current beta. I believe Starcraft 2 is already in beta testing.

If you predict that Q4 2007 will be the earliest the game will be out, even Q1 2008 is before the 10th anniversary. But what are you basing that prediction off of? Did you know that the game had already been in development for over 4 years?

Look at the gameplay trailer. If that game came out today, it would be a great game.

TheVede, from the PCGamer Podcast, actually saw the game at Blizzard's HQ a week before the announcement, and he said that the game already looks better than C&C3, that it looks polished, and that it's already being played in-house. He also said that Blizzard has learned that while the fans understand their "Announce the game, but miss release dates to perfect it" thing, most everyone sees it as a bad thing. And that with SC2, they waited until the game was up to their standards before announcing that it even existed.

I used XP since it came out, and got both Vista for my desktop and a Macbook Pro as a new Laptop at about the same time. Vista, to me, seems to be more.. idiot proof? You can't easily get to the network connections screen anymore, you have to open 2 other screens and find the small text only link to actually view your network connections. With my Mac, I don't know, the UI is beautiful, the apps run nicely, and it does everything I want. I've only got one complaint, and that's not Apple's fault, but there's not many games. Popcap games are fun, but I have to go to Vista to play 'em.

I prefer Vista over XP, but OS X over both.
