Scroll through the digg comments and the fact that 99% of the people commenting cannot spell simple words or don't know which word to use(their/there/they're) really makes you miss the comments of/....
I've stopped trying to read the digg comments, due to the fact that half of the comments are one word "lol" or "cool" and 25% of them are "me too" and all of them have spelling errors. And Digg has a spellcheck!
You want a closed file sharing program that only the people you know and give the password to can use? Hamachi. www.hamachi.cc is AMAZING. No mac client, yet, but there is one for windows and Linux.
A pirate is one who robs or plunders at sea without a commission from a recognised sovereign nation. Pirates usually target other ships, but have also attacked targets on shore. These acts are known as piracy. Unlike the stereotypical pirate with cutlass and masted sailing ship, today most pirates get about in speedboats wearing balaclavas instead of bandanas, using AK-47s rather than cutlasses.
I use bittorrent to infringe on copyright, yes. But I've never commited piracy.
And really, you've got most of that bass ackwards. It's the little guys who can go to places like iTunes or Amazon and get their CDs and songs sold for actual money, instead of signing a $10m contract with the RIAA and spending the next 20 years trying to pay off the $10m loan. Yeah. That's how the RIAA contracts work. You didn't know that, you say? You made that whole post with your ass you say? Hmm... Go back to kuro5hin.
So, in a world where every single job that pays more than minimum wage requires computer interaction, he's crippling her development of important skills?
If I was the government, I'd take his child away from him.
It's actually kinda funny, the Mac offering of IE and Office usually get the new stuff first and work the best. After a year or so, the features work themselves over to the Windows side.
You can do whatever you want. I didn't "steal" anything.
And Office Space? Over-rated.
Stolen? Not really. I only copied a series of bits from multiple sources. ;)
I'm posting to you from OSX on an Inspiron 4150.. Haven't tried it on my home built box, though.

As someone with ADHD, I have to say that your comment is HEY LETS GO RIDE BIKES!
Microsoft released a patch for this. Try again, Slashdot.
The I in RAID stands for "independent"

I meant "global warming" in the way it's being used by most people, to mean "OMG PEOPLE BURN GAS AND R MAKE TEH EARTH BADDER!"
Sorry for any confusion.
If you don't know how to use the language, don't try.
I don't attempt to write out the clicks and whistles you use to communicate with your nigger brothers and sisters, do I?

Well, we actually can root for it.. if you live far enough inland. I live on the NY/MA border and wouldn't mind the distance to the ocean halved.
What the hell does your side story have to do with anything? Go blog about it, susan.

You're assuming that global warming is a real event and not just part of a multi-million year global trend.

Do you ever wonder why your karma sucks so hard? ;)
He wasn't asking for a torrent of the mod, but for the actual game.
"I won't buy coke because they're dicks." is the same as "Coke sucks, I'm going to drink Mr. Pibb."
Remote Wonder II has a port for an IR Blaster.

Listen to the most recent TWiT with TheWoz. Dvorak does his usual "talk over people" thing, but pretty much gets dominated by Leo and Woz.
I also liked how that little bitch Kevin Rose kept his mouth shut when Woz was talking. A pretty good TWiT, actually.
Feel free to send him an email. But remember: he gets no spam.
Does nVidia offer an All In Wonder?
