It's always pretty interesting when I make dinner.
I throw something in the oven, and set the timer. In my room, I acn't hear the timer going off, but recently, I've been getting the urge to go check on my food. As soon as I get up there, the timer goes off and the food's done.
I don't look at the clock or anything, it's kinda weird.
Maybe it's something like cats and dogs, how they know you should be home at a certain time and will stand at the window looking for you.. *shrug*
I think it's funny that a game rated M for mature and is full of violence gets in trouble for some half finished sex minigames.
While R rated movies are chock full of violence, gore, and nudity and everyone is alright.
The M rating for games is the same fucking thing as the R rating for movies! I bet I could make a bunch of money suing Blockbuster for giving people under 17 access to R rated games.
And about the "great for working out" thing, the 60 gig loads the next bunch of songs in the playlist to 64 megs of memory, and only spins up for about 10 seconds every 45 minutes or so. The 40 gig I had only spun up every half hour. I've gone 4-wheeling for 3+ hours and never had any problems with my iPod.
I made a post like this on digg, and was promptly moderaded to -3 (actually, all my comments start at -3 there since I told Kevin Rose to go fuck himself, but that's not the point here)...
I don't get the obsession with the nano or the mini. I just purchased a 60 gig iPod. I upgraded from a 40 gig 4g pre-photo and can't even look at my 4g without wondering how it lasted a year. My music collection was limited to 40 gigs, and now is slowly growing again. I have 15 gigs of videos and 4 gigs of space left on my iPod... without it, I don't know how I'd go a day at work.
I can't see why anyone would want to bring only 240 songs with them. When for $250 more they can bring ALL of their songs. If your budget says "$150 is it for mp3 players" go to eBay and find a 3rd or 4th gen iPod. Hell, I'll sell my 40 gig 4g for $200 + shipping if you're interested.
My point is, why get something as small as a gig, when you can get 60 gigs for a little bit more?
I'm downloading one thing with Azureus, and it's using 139 megs of ram. If I get fancy and try to download 5+ things at the same time, it can hit 500 megs.
I'd love if Firefox didn't take up 256 megs of ram with 5 tabs open. Is that something we can get fixed soon? That'd be great. All I want is for Firefox to take less memory than Azureus.
I only have adblock and bugmenot, so it's not extensions causing the problem.
The only publicity they're getting is "They Sued an Infant" and "They sued a crippled grandmother".. there's no "OMG FILESHARING IS BAD CUZ DEY SUE LOL I SHUD STOP, ROFL" happening because of this.
If you are interested in the item that's for sale, and the rebate is an issue... depending on how expensive the product is, the person working the cash register may be able to take the rebate off, and give you the "advertised" price right there. No paperwork, no nothing. Just say something like "It's $X? The price tag says $Y." They'll come back with "After the rebate." all you have to do is say "Well, if I can't get it for $Y right now, I don't want it." and they'll USUALLY give it to you for the "After Rebate" price.
Actually, as long as you don't attach your iPod to your library (iTunes asks you if you want to) you can use some of the various 3rd party apps to save your music from your iPod. There's even a winamp plugin that will let you use winamp instead of iTunes for synching and podcast downloading.
There are tons of 3rd party programs to remove songs from your iPod without using iTunes. There's even a winamp plugin so you can avoid using iTunes totally.
Or maybe, just maybe.. he's trying to do something nice. How much money do YOU give?
The person that was responsible for appointing the person who was responsible for appointing that underqualified-chucklehead has also been sacked.

So, that's an in browser extension that blocks ads for me without taking up additional system resources? Oh, it's not? Yeah. I thought so.
I'm looking for something just like adblock. Not an extra program.

"and you need the spontaneity more than most other folks do"
Excuse me, I didn't know you read minds. Well, you're pretty far off.
I don't remember saying that, and, hey, I didn't. I don't know anyone that can predict what kind of music they want to listen to 12 hours in advance.
No, they pay me to prepare food. A kitchen is a loud hot place, and the music helps keep me from killing my cow-orkers.
Your purse? Gadgets? It's nice to finally get to talk to you, Mr. Nick Starr.
The size of the Nano compared to the full on 60 gig video is nothing. The 60g is smaller than a deck of cards!
And about the working out, read my other comment. The hard drive spins up so rarely that it's not an issue.
Because my music taste is so varied, I don't know what I want to listen to for the whole day ahead of time. I go from A3 to QotSA to comedy.
Actually, I just installed and set up opera 9.00 and am loving it a bit more than Firefox. If only there was a way to block ads.

I'd switch to opera in a heart beat if I could use adblock with it.

Ask Al Franken about that book.

Not at Best Buy. They have a form that's printed for you to fill out. Just to make sure that there are tons of reasons for them to reject your MiR.
No, because it doesn't go in as an item with a rebate. It goes in as an item for a certain price. You clearly have no idea how a cash register works.
They can use the same method they use to price-match to do this.
You, sir, are a Nub.

You may be a Boone's Farm fan, but you're still a karma whoring fucker.
You're an asshole, and a fucktard. Go away.
Posted while logged in, because I can't stand your fucking comments and I want you to know it.
No, but to say "steal" implies that I took something from them. Which I did not.
For someone with such a low UID, you're a complete fucking moron.
Wow, that story is wrong.
Blackcomb is the server counterpart to Vista.
And why would you want to use a server OS to game?
And, to echo my friend here, what the fuck is holographic RAID?
