I find that the first showings at 12:01am are usually only the big fans. They're always silent the whole time, and when the credits roll everyone cheers and claps. On your way out you can have a conversation about the movie with total strangers. It's great.
If you've ever worked in a theater (I have) you'll learn to respect the guys who clean them up.
The place I worked at was across town from the k-3/6-8th grade school (They truck them across the county for 4 and 5th grades. When X-Men 2 (My first day working) came out the place was a total mess. I heard horror stories about the Harry Potter movies. The floors are slanted, so the floor was sticky all the way down. Popcorn everywhere.
Sometimes the theater shows indie films, and the people who go to them are almost as bad. They don't buy snacks from the counter, but they bring food in and leave the garbage behind. A guy left behind about 100 shelled peanuts. Half of the shells were stuck to the wall with spit. And don't get me started on gum.
Ever since I had to clean up the theater in the 20 minutes between showings, I've never made a mess when I've gone to a movie.
Someone was being a total dick with a laser pointer when I went to see AvP. I know, a laser pointer. Remember when pointing a laser pointer was funny? Back in 1996, I mean.
I stood up and said "Cut the shit, asshole!" and 4 guys backed me up. The rest of the movie was.. well, less horrible.
Actually, the last figures I saw (Somewhere on/.) said that schoolyard piracy was about 70% (or some other larger percentage) of piracy. Timmy buys a CD, rips it to his computer to put on his iPod. Joe asks for a copy of the CD so he burns him a copy. Everyone I work with asks for copies of the music I listen to. I think that counts as "schoolyard piracy"
Some holidays. Bad weather. After a robbery, they don't keep the store open. Someone calls in sick, and the manager has already worked 12 hours and needs to open the next morning. Cleaning the whole store from top to bottom.
I worked at a 24/7 xtraMart and we closed at midnight on christmas and opened at 6am the next morning. There's tons of reasons for closing.
Or, in your case, World of Whining. On Stonespire (or spirestone, whatever it is) I have none of these issues. Low population pvp server. The longest wait I've ever had for the BG was 30 minutes on a saturday at 1pm.
You're complaining about issues that were addressed already. If your server is so full you have to wait to log on, you can transfer your character to another server.
You mean the DAP DVDs? The VHS copies are recorded from when the show aired. They're not released for profit. You can download them from myspleen.net if you want, that's a member only tracker. But you can sign up. Or e-mule, search for MST3k and you can download just about every single episode.
Many people will always pay a little more for the feeling of a better computer. Many people are also willing to pay more for a better looking computer case. Alienware, Falcon-NW, and Voodoo-PC are good examples of places selling "better looking" and "xtreme" computers.
Google for Windows Nemesis. It's a DVD image that gives you a list of what programs you want installed, and it installs them. It also tweaks SP2 for P2P.
It would be an improvement, though.
It can't be bad directing, because Lucas doesn't direct his actors. He chooses them and trusts they'll take the character where he wants it.
And because directing the actors cuts into buffet time.
We all played KotOR too many times.

I have a few nerdy ThinkGeek shirts. The people who work in places like that aren't nerdy enough to know what ThinkGeek is.
Although my "I don't work here" shirt helps a little at Best Buy.

Arr, matey.

It's kiddie porn. There's 106 child sex exploitation charges against the guy.
Not in the downloads. In the CLIENT. The story is about Spyware in the CLIENT.
90% you say? How far up your ass did you pull that number from?
So don't use the official client. Use Azureus. Don't trust it? Check the source.
They may play Horde, but I bet they don't play as hunters.. (I'm an unloved Tauren Hunter)

I can't vote for the guy who set up the tax in CALIFORNIA if I live in New York, can I?
Yes, I just went there. Nothing has changed since yesterday... why do you ask?

What is up with your formatting?

Just re-downloaded the torrent and connected to the tracker using Azureus and it is still working.
I saw his message, decided to see if it was true, and downloaded the torrent.
Odd, it works for me.
Yes, it's been done before. For just about every single Fedora Core release.
