    Being based on open source means absolutely nothing when you do everything you possibly can to kill off the original and build walls to keep people out of your own fork.

    Enable the software firewall (it was in pre-SP2 but disabled by default). It works fine.

    Because the Xbox is a game console and having a fast processor is a requirement to keep up with the fast GPU they are going to use? The Xbox really is comparable to a smart phone ;)

    Marshalling might be correct. I regularly marshal data between different types in my Managed C++ projects.

    RMS being a programming God is laughable. He's a bum first and formost. Before he started the GCC project he first tried to bum a compiler off someone else for NOTHING then tried to take someone else's source code and create an improved version to undoubtedly name RMS-CC or something equally stupid then started GCC with *supposedly* no code from the compiler he was going to use previously. This pattern lives on to this day. 1) Try to get something for free with no strings attached from someone else 2) Base your product on someone else's work 3) Give up and write a new one from "scratch"

    No, sir. The PATRIOT Act removed or softened some provisions of FISA. Before FISA, law enforcement did just about whatever they wanted with surveillance. FISA actually tightened the strings on wiretapping and whatnot. PATRIOT let it all loose and MORE.

    Is it? It wouldn't be the first time that someone mysteriously committed "suicide" after an SCO/O'Gara attack. There are people on SCOX discussion boards "predicting" her suicide. That is essentially a threat and it's the RIGHT THING to come out and say she would never do that in the event that she "shoots herself to death".

    And what is your point? The GBC is older than the GBA and the GBA will run GBC games. It's not surprising someone can emulate the GBC when people are emulating the newer GBA just fine.

    Odd. I can plug in flash drives, external hard drives, USB hubs with 3 or 4 other devices on them and XP detects them and they just work. Maybe you're installation is hosed? ;p

    That sounds like something nVidia should fix themselves unless it's caused by a limitation in the OS.

    The thing with Apple computer was that if they wanted to they could've gone into the business of computer hardware for music purposes and then they would've been trampling on Apple's (music company) turf somewhat. I really don't know how they've gotten away with QuickTime, iTunes and the iPod though.
