but what if we could create a device to protect ourselves so when we get crunched by gravity survive long enough to slip into the 11th dimension and then pop back out again into another universe?
BS
Especially when you have 300000 users and you just implement a corporate policy that dictates 12 character passwords.
Layered security is also something that no organisation should be without. This by definition includes firewalls, IDS, HIDS, etc.
Toilet Time!
Hmmm,
Sun have a ball and chain around them. Its their hardware. While Solaris definitely has its place at the moment (HA Systems especially) most apps just don't need the added sweetness that Solaris gives you. You are better off with commodity hardware/blades and Linux, which Sun just can't compete in at the moment when you factor in lifetime costs. The sooner Sun embrace Linux fully (Linux NOT on Sparc) the more they will sell - services included. IBM are getting there with P5/P4 and Linux.
Linux will soon catch up and overtake Solaris for the things that matter to Sun the most - HA and in chassis scalability.
Not enough time for a sig. I need the bathroom
The fact that the device was "pre-configured" and then "unmodified" should raise a few eyebrows. This is pure FUD and marketing bull. Anyone with at least a plebsworth of IT sense knows that to form a connection it takes two ends. I havent read the article but then again I don't need to.
Hopefully implementing encryption PROPERLY in the APIC layer will avoid all of the crap we had to put with regarding the mismatched client standards, chipsets, hacks and OS's
It is about time wlan wasn't fscked for 50 quid
MAC layer encryption is great until some smart person breaks it. Implement it correctly and you wont look like an arse. This is your last chance at getting 802.11 security correct!!!!!
BS doesn't have a sig. But Apu asks you to come again
Rather than use this technology to shoot the crap out of people, couldn't it be used for something much more useful, say wireless power? Maybe PPPP point-to-point power.
So transmitting an MP3 for this legal, but transmitting an MP3 for sharing purposes is not? Even thought the contents of the data stream are the same? I can't really see how this is going to work.

I was wondering if this was going to be 12.00 AM GMT, EST or PST. Looks like it was PST.

I wonder how much storage space is on it, and how long it will take to transfer onto a PC/Editing system given 1080i's bandwidth requirements?

is to use a retina scanning devices instead. After all it is much harder to remove a persons eyeball than it is their finger. No sig required
Nothing to see here. Please move along. This is MS site expected behaviour - there in place of a 404 BS

Just think no more cabling or pylons!
