Ecommerce wasn't a thing yet. Years later, I decided, "Hey, they are still holding their value! I'm going to sell these!" and BAM, it hit like a ton razorblades... with a global, online market, there is always someone out there willing to sell that $500 comic book for $1 plus shipping.

It just isn't possible. There is a whole api (WUA) built on top of how it works now. Everything using it would fail if it moved to something different. That is, it is very evident that it was built with the update format currently in use to guide its direction. An emulation layer may not be possible, and even if it is, may not be more efficient than what is there now and also is work toward something that is EOL in 4 months.

The current way it works now, is the client downloads wsusscn2.cab, which in turn contains package.cab (among many others), which contains package.xml. Package.xml contains the updates in such a way that is flexible in that it can address more than one OS/platform/application/etc per patch, or more than one patch per update, or more than one file per patch, and so on. The Update nodes only point to categories/patches/files/locations/prerequisites/revision/etc via ids which have to be looked up deep in the file. Right now, that xml file is over 65MB. It would have made this easy if it were stored in a relation database, instead of an xml file, but it isn't and like I said, the API was built around the source of the information being an xml file, among other things.

I don't know of any women who do not where a bra. I also know of no men that wear a jock strap, except in sports. Hell, half of the people I know don't wear underwear. This is a solution tucked into an everyday use item, not a shoehorn solution that is tedious to carry or remember to wear.

I also think you need to accept that women are biologically different than men. It is a fact, not sexism. We produce and secrete different hormones in different places in different situations. Men tend to be stronger because they can grow muscles due to testosterone production. Women tend to grow breasts due to estrogen production. That is just how it is.

Any patient on medicaid/medicare gets more treatments, pills, devices, etc. because the hospital, dr, or specialist can bill for it.

You grossly overestimate how much medicare (and medicaid) provide, and ignore the cost of what you receive. Being on medicare, a chunk of your Social Security income is taken for part A. For me, that amount is almost $200 a month. I only get an allowance of ~$630 dollars a month to spend on the hospital/PCP/specialist. A trip to the hospital, and I owe out of pocket. If I visit my PCP (primary care physician) AND have a psychiatrist appointment, or a physical therapy appointment in the same month, I owe out of pocket. Essentially, I get a "free" ~$430 to throw at my medical care and the rest is up to me to cover.

Medicare Part B (drugs) is optional. It can cost anywhere from $120 to $300+ dollars a month, depending on what and how much you want. It is only beneficial to have if you are on a regimen of costly drugs that would normally go above what you would pay without it. Even if you opt to purchase part B, not everything is covered, and you have a varying copay.
