Good idea. I also think that a lot of our physics and computer science Profs would go to the barricades if they were kind of forced to work with Windows. Most of them are using Linux and are presumably not willing to check their mails via a web-mailer interface. Changing the OS would be also out of question for them as they all have their specific software they've been using for half of the lifes or even have large projects with years of planning running under a non Microsoft OS. But well.. if you're on a non natural / computer science University you're probably doomed.
If I was that paranoid the last thing I would do is using an OS like Windows XP. Remember that story with the mysterios NSA registry key in former Windows versions..
Yes.. you're right. Without the right controller there's something missing. I especially experienced this playing old Amiga 500 games via UAE. I would prefer if some old school controllers like the Atari 7800 pads and the Competition Pro would hit the market again (with pc gameport connector) instead of those redone consoles. Why wasting money and ressources for something which can be easily emulated?
I read today that even the mushrooms in Germany still have a quite high radiation level. So I'm pretty sure those which are growing in Chernobyl will be ok. O_o Seems to me that especially the old people living there don't know much about radioactivity.
John's Desktop after finishing Daikatana http://home.arcor.de/sordit/linked/john rdesk.jpg For god's sake he has switched to Mozilla, checking it out after getting compatibilty complains about his website. He's also unsing Trillian instead of ICQ and I don't think his wallpaper is still featuring Daikatana art.
