    If you let anybody use your trademark without permission
    They could have easily worked out a license deal, they didn't have to stop the dentist convention. They just didn't want to be associated with the kind of physical pain the words "Worldcon Dental Edition" summons.

    Exactly, he bought the patent, very different from copyright or trademark. That said, these guys absolutely had it coming.

    The US Military doesn't exactly have a great record against guerilla tactics.

    Moreover, it's a given that if some issue were to become so divisive that civil war broke out, a sizable chunk of the armed forces would jump sides, sabotaging or stealing what equipment they could. And let's not count out foreign aid, there are plenty of neighbors to the south with long memories who would love nothing more than to see the US establishment brought down. Things would not be so one-sided as they appear at a first glance.

    The most important thing I learned about nero express, and learned fast, is to never, ever use it's built in filebrowser for anything, becasue if you accidentally drag a folder onto itself, it will ACTUALLY TRY TO COMPLY, leaving you with whatever content was there buried at the bottom of 200+ recursive subfolders

    Hehehe... The last game I DMed, all the players were assorted value resistors and the cave trolls were 20k DRAM chips. Bulk desoldering old motherboards is fun and profitable.
